| Author bio: Delusions of a Declining Man available in 6 language versions. Please see author book list. Robert Logsdon combines earlier works with aesthetic writing created from the backdrop of the photography of Kylie Ikerd in his first compilation, "Delusions of a Declining Man". The poems craft visions ranging from young love, the trials of mid-life and the aspirations of aging gracefully in a modern world. The nuance of Ikerd's lens combined with Logsdon's translation into poetry and prose form a storytelling style that will both grip emotions and lift the spirit. A 4 book fiction series to be released 2012. Facebook author page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Robert-Logsdon/317583771597362 |

Random Rhymes | by Dawn Millen May 04, 2012 | $4.99 | 8431 words | Sample 20% |
| Author bio: Hello everyone, my name is Dawn and I have recently returned to writing after a break of many years due to nursing my husband and raising my family. I was widowed almost 18 months ago and now find I have the time to write again. The book "Widowhood 101" was written during the first year and a half of widowhood and is just a few of the things I learned during this time. I hope it helps others along this journey. The poetry in Random Rhyme is a collection of old and new poems and were written for both my own and the enjoyment of others. I currently live with my dog on a large and untidy block of land in rural Australia. I have a busy life with my family and volunteer work with New South Wales State Emergency Service. I spend many hours writing each day with my dog curled up beside me too. I look forward to hearing from my readers and thank you for giving me the chance to play a part in your life's journey as you are playing a part in mine. Regards Dawn |

Once Upon a Rhyme... | by Kimberly A Bettes May 04, 2012 | $2.99 | 25825 words | Sample 20% |
| Author bio: Kimberly A. Bettes lives in the beautiful Ozark Mountains of southeast Missouri with her husband and son. No, she doesn't run moonshine. And no, she doesn't make moonshine, either. Although from time to time, one would think she had partaken of a hearty batch. And yes, she has all her teeth. While she doesn't wear overalls, she knows many people who do. Before you ask, yes, she wears shoes. And socks. Constantly. It's part of her OCD. Living in the Ozarks doesn't require you to tell people to squeal like a pig. It's completely optional. Kimberly is a freelance writer and photographer. Her trademark seems to be photos of flowers with mysteriously appearing bugs that she doesn't notice while taking the photograph, only later. It's a good thing she mainly photographs flowers. God forbid she should be photographing say, a mountain and not see the grizzly bear charging at her. This would lead to a completely different Bio page. Or as some would call it, a Eulogy. Kimberly has many hobbies including knitting, crocheting, embroidery, and quilting. It's not unusual to find her in a rocking chair, knitting. But don't think she's old yet because while she's knitting, she's singing along with Eminem or Rob Zombie. After receiving many complaints from her neighbors about said singing, Kimberly has decided to try to limit the singing to showers only. So far, she's failed to live up to her end of the compromise. Fortunately for all involved parties, Kimberly's winning personality keeps her neighbors on her good side and there doesn't seem to be an imminent law suit lurking in the near future. At least not for her inability to sing. The hobby of Kimberly's that most worries those who know her is her obsession with serial killers. No, not people who hate Fruit Loops, but the people who make a dirty habit out of killing other people. They fascinate her. Not because she wants to be like them. That would make her weird. But what appeals to her is how at any second, anyone can cross that line. She likes to know what makes people tick. Other than Tourette's Syndrome. Don't worry. She doesn't write to them in prison or anything. After all, the price of stamps has skyrocketed lately. She doesn't have posters of murderers hanging on her walls. Her husband gripes too much about the thumbtack holes they leave. She just reads about them and studies them from afar. Seriously. It's completely normal. Let's call it...research. Yeah. That's it. Research for those crazy novels she writes. Speaking of those novels, Kimberly is the author of Annie's Revenge, The Good Neighbor, Minutes to Death, Rage, and several short stories, poems and songs. She has many projects in the works. If she can keep herself from procrastinating, you can expect to find some more of her work available soon. |

| Author bio: Captain Peter Cain (born 1954) spent all his childhood years living in a small village called Buxworth which is situated in the hills of the Peak District in North Derbyshire. At the age of 20, he broke away from village life to become a Redcoat Entertainer at the Butlins Holiday Centre in Ayr, Scotland. From there he advanced from being a bingo caller and then manager to sales executive for a cleaning firm before finally owning his own business which he eventually sold. He aimed for a complete 'life change' and went through the process of becoming a professional boat skipper. He sailed around to Portugal and settled in the beautiful tourist locality of Lagos, which is situated in the west of the Algarve. He has worked in the region as a skipper on various tourist boats during the summer seasons since 2000. When he was in his early 30’s, having always shown an interest in writing, he was a whisker away from having some of his work accepted for TV. Until recently his work commitments prevented him from further pursuing his love of writing and poetry, but now has time to return to his favourite pastime. His first book, which has been published through Kindle is called 'Percy the Parrot - and Other Pet Subjects', which is based on the African Grey parrot Peter once owned and also in the book are some of his many other humorous encounters with various creatures ranging from mice to elephants. To add to this, his new book 'A Sign of the Rhymes' which was released on March 1st 2012 contains humorous rhymes, 'Puzzling Poems' and a concept he has named 'Re-versing Rhyme', an interesting take on poetry. Peter has just finished writing a follow up to his first book which is entitled 'Percy the Parrot 2, the bird's perspective''. A light hearted fictional account of events as experienced by 'Percy'. The book is also now available through Kindle publishing. Peter is presently in the process of writing more poetry and rhymes with an illustrated children's 'A-Z of Animal Poems'. |

| Author bio: Warren L.G De Mills is a Poet/Musician. Born in the far off Caribbean island of Trinidad and Tobago, He was raised in a Christian home and has many supporting family members whom he trusts and loves so dearly. He attended Queen's Royal College where he attained his O level passes and was participant in varying extra curricular activities. He was part of the school's committee for the Inter-School's Christian Fellowship (ISCF) where he, with the committee, held meetings, debates and discussions on a weekly basis. He captained the football team at the U-14 level where they made it to the zonal finals. That season he obtained the "Player of the Year" award, the "Best Defender" award as well as the "Most Valuable Player" award. However, he then decided to drop his sports gear to take up the arts more seriously. This is where he picked up the guitar and made singing a priority, writing was ever prominent from even the earlier stages of his life and so it continued on through these stages as well. He soon began covering songs by Metallica, Trivium and popular Metalcore acts of the time such as As I Lay Dying. Taught by one of the Best instructors in the country, Shallun Sammy (ex Skid'Nevely, Current Five Miles To Midnight) guitarist, He picked up things pretty fast. He stunned audiences with musical styles that were not necessarily popular at the time. He also picked up acting around this time making his debut at NAPA in the Broadway Musical Hit 'West Side Story' playing the Role of the gang member Arab. This exposure assisted his skills in singing and lyric writing as well as it aided his ability to perform in-front of large audiences. During this time Warren was also performing at various 'Open Mic' events broadcasting his talent for guitar playing and singing as well as poetry. With encouraging reactions from the crowds He continued to perform and write. He had his poem 'Daymare' featured in the Trinidad & Tobago National Poetry Day, where it one first place poem reading. He is also a member of the Trinidad & Tobago Poet's Society. Many of his poetic pieces were published in the popular student paper 'The Student Press' and the 'Gie Network'. He began to compose original music which followed the style of 'Deathcore' in their early stages, then metalcore for a while then more recently He has adapted a more melodic tone. This is exclusive of acoustic song sketches and ideas. Currently, He is pursuing a Bachelor's Degree of arts in Theology & Religion with an emphasis on Pastoral Ministry at the University of the Southern Caribbean. He teaches Religious Instruction part time in his Alma Mata, Queen's Royal College. At this stage in life, he has become versed in the languages of English, Spanish and French. |
