Great Minds Think Aloud now offers publishing services, advertising services, and company merchandise. All of this information can be found on their site: http://www.greatmindsliterarycommunity.com. One of the largest draws at this point are the themed e-book giveaways they have begun starting Halloween of 2011. Each holiday through Easter they will host a new event where lots of different authors offer a donated e-book to create packages for the lucky winners. Their reviews have become some of the most followed reviews on the web, and their process is one formulated to be honest, precise, and intellectual. They review all genres and have what they call the "Raven" system set up to rate the books they receive. Being a long time fan of Edgar Allan Poe, Kitty Bullard the creator of Great Minds, chose the Raven to be an integral symbol of the literary community. Interviews with authors are always done on a personal basis by researching the author and their works before forming questions that are for them alone. At the bottom of the home page on their website you can find all the various hubs where reviews, interviews, blog stop posts and any other correspondence with authors, publishers, and publicists are found. Great Minds also prides themselves on their versatility, as they have made a point to work with well-known publishing agencies as well as Indie publishers which they take a special interest in. From there he advanced from being a bingo caller and then manager to sales executive for a cleaning firm before finally owning his own business which he eventually sold. He has worked in the region as a skipper on various tourist boats during the summer seasons since 2000. When he was in his early 30â€™s, having always shown an interest in writing, he was a whisker away from having some of his work accepted for TV. Until recently his work commitments prevented him from further pursuing his love of writing and poetry, but now has time to return to his favourite pastime. His first book, which has been published through Kindle is called 'Percy the Parrot - and Other Pet Subjects', which is based on the African Grey parrot Peter once owned and also in the book are some of his many other humorous encounters with various creatures ranging from mice to elephants. To add to this, his new book 'A Sign of the Rhymes' which was released on March 1st 2012 contains humorous rhymes, 'Puzzling Poems' and a concept he has named 'Re-versing Rhyme', an interesting take on poetry. Peter has just finished writing a follow up to his first book which is entitled 'Percy the Parrot 2, the bird's perspective''. A light hearted fictional account of events as experienced by 'Percy'. The book is also now available through Kindle publishing. Peter is presently in the process of writing more poetry and rhymes with an illustrated children's 'A-Z of Animal Poems'.
