Charles Webster Leadbeater was born in February 1854, in Cheshire, England. During his life, he claimed to have been born in 1847, but there is a fairly good body of evidence to say the correct year was 1854. His father — Charles — moved the family to London in 1861 because of a job with the railroad. An uncle — W. W. Capes — got young Charles interested in the priesthood. He was ordained to the clergy by the Bishop of Winchester in 1979. He met Helena P. Blavatsky in 1884. The well-known mystic got him interest in the occult side of religion. Father Leadbeater was so enamored by Madam Blavatsky that he became her disciple, mov-ing to Adyar, India shortly after meeting her. He renounced his priesthood and took up studies under Blavatsky. In the early part of the twentieth century, he and James I. Wedgwood founded the Liberal Catholic Church. Their intent was to nourish esoteric liturgies, separate from the Anglican and Roman Rites of the church catholic.

Author bio:
As a child I grew up in Wyoming, Michigan the eldest child of 2 sisters and 2 brothers, (including another half brother). At around the age of 15 I was forced to take control as head of the household when my parents divorced, more or less forcing me to take on the responsibility of raising my sister Laura (my sister Alisha, the youngest of the two going with my mother) and my brother Eric as well as taking care of my father in the months that followed after his health diminished. At the age of 16 I was forced to quit high school, and sought employment to help take care of my father and his continued health issues, though by then my mother had won custody of all my sibblings. In January 1998, my father passed away after taking a fall a few days after christmas, at that time, with how my life was going and my outlook on things (Way Emo) i was hoping for his death as it was the only way at that time that i felt my life would have a purpose or meaning, i was starting to hate all my friends and family members who had gone on to college, found lovers, and started having famlies of their own, while my life was a constant rut. In the end he passed away and I went to live with my maternal grandparents, who taught be a lot about the real world, life, love, and family. In 2000 after the passing of both my grandparents, I went back to school and received my GED. In 2004, thanks to the assistance of a pastor (John Collins), I was able to go to college and major in pre-law. While at college I took on several other areas of study to include, diversity in society, psychology, philosophy, sociology, history and humanities. These classes helped me in understanding a lot about my full potential as well as the world around me. In 2005 I became a volunteer for CASA (court Appointed Special Advocates) for abused and Negelcted children, and did this until late 2009 when my own health issues began to interfer with my daily life. Having no insurance because of a cheap employer (Advance Securtiy) i either ignored my health issues or went to free clinics which were able to extend things. In December of 2010 thanks to the New Health Care Act i was able to obtain health insurace, only to find out a few months ago that i have NASH, more or less known as Non-Alcoholic Liver Issues, and that i now have 5 - 15 years before i will need a liver transplant, that is of course if i can get my other health issues in check before that time. Writing Motivation: What motivates me to write is my ability to always think and see things from outside of the box... in fact for me there is no box, I just have an odd way of looking at things. Or as some of my professors said in college, "I live in a constant state of parinoia." which i agree is true. Genres: Currently my most recent work is in the genre of historical fiction (Titanic: Echo of the Dying Confession) My reasons for writing about the Titanic as an historical fiction derived from an idea that my grandfather had about the titanic being sunk on purpose. Following this idea I created the novel which shows the possibility of this notion as well as digs deeper into the heart of mans vengeance and the wrath of God. Add to this a book i just came out with called "The heat of Passion Doctrine: Kill your Spouse and Get Away with Murder" and one can see that obscured world i live in... Future works: I am also working on 2 other novels at the moment, one titled "Reasons to be Missed" that deals with a young girl dealing with the troubles in her life (cancer and love life issues). As well as working on a book about the murder of my Cousin Jeff Dryden who was abused by his Girlfriend who eventually killed him buy stabbing him in the neck when he decided to leave her. This book is very dear to my heart and is taking me a little bit longer than expected but i am working on it. Tao of Taoism - Using the Dao Te Ching to Improve Your Life by Buddha Zhen Tao of Taoism - Using the Dao Te Ching to Improve Your Life by Buddha Zhen March 24, 2012 $8.88 10772 words Sample 25%
Author bio:
Richard began studying Shaolin Kung Fu and Yang Tai Chi in 1980. His record company, Shaolin Records, was staffed with interns who received free daily Gongfu and Taijiquan lessons. This earned him the Buddhist Kung Fu name in 1994 of Zhen Shen-Lang, "Spirit Wolf of Truth." Known mostly as Buddha Zhen, founder of Buddha Kung Fu, Shaolin Chi Mantis, and the nonprofit organization for troubled youth, Tai Chi Youth, Buddha Z has been inspiring, guiding, helping, and improving the lives of kids, teens, adults and seniors through his books, poetry, music, podcasts, and Kung Fu / Tai Chi classes. After being bitten by a black widow spider in 2001, Buddha Zhen began a slow recovery that took several years by slowly adding his Kung Fu and Tai Chi classes back into his life. Eventually, he lost the 55 pounds he gained from not being able to walk and despite his Doctor's warnings of heart damage from the poison, is in the best health of his life at age 58 in 2012. Referred to as a "Buddhist Scientist," Buddha Z offers thousands of pages of free resources to inspire, enlighten, and entertain. The Shaolin Zen "CyberTemple" has been improving the lives of over 1 million people since its creation in 1999 with free podcasts and dharma lessons, "Buddhism Basics." His plans to launch Online Lessons and Lectures is being supported through grants and donations to Tai Chi Youth. This nonprofit organization was launched in 1996 with grants from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA).

The Book Of Truths by Tremayne Curtis The Book Of Truths by Tremayne Curtis March 19, 2012 $3.99 18787 words Sample 15%
Author bio:
Tremayne Curtis, offhanded greeted by names of world greatest philosopher and poet of the 21st century, sees still not himself in those lights; but easier thinks to employ strength and encounter by yet such ways as implicates him. He is one to have partaken in deathly trances oft as he draws breath, and plunges willy-nilly in Reason as one fever-brained does in strange fits! And by some curious force seeking consummation, is harassed with the pen to confess intelligences thence obtained. Whether these be wit, or mere initiates of a giddy brain, provokes Thought infinitely – estranging Question. All in one rolled, our author purposes still to nourish the ill-wracked, lean, and bloody world; by this means, and other not as yet perceived. Thus is the purpose in the writing infolded, yearning, in the sweet reader’s reading; lest he be wracked in vain. He gives thanks, and contents not, most starved, in the giving still, to all that might read him at all!

Debunking PseudoSkeptical Arguments of Paranormal Debunkers by Winston Wu Debunking PseudoSkeptical Arguments of Paranormal Debunkers by Winston Wu March 14, 2012 $7.99 62350 words Sample 15%
Author bio:
Winston Wu is an Asian American Expat Writer, Traveler and Successful Internet Entrepreneur. Born in Taiwan, he emigrated to America when he was 3 years old and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. Mr. Wu is a leading pioneer in the International Dating and Living Movement and is considered the movement’s intellectual champion. He has been featured in various alternative media interviews, and is publicly known as a Freethinker, Champion of Truth, Debunker of BS, Propaganda, Mind Control and Logic Fallacies - a quality extremely rare among Asians. With a high level of awareness and propensity to think outside the box, he has written many Articles and Books with truthful insights, revelations, useful advice, freethought, revolutionary solutions, and politically incorrect but accurate cultural comparisons. Mr. Wu is Founder of two successful and unique websites that are the first of their kind: Happier Abroad (HappierAbroad.com), a Global Dating and Living website, community and movement with an intellectual focus containing truthful no-holds barred content, and SCEPCOP (DebunkingSkeptics.com), the first coalition to counter and debunk organized PseudoSkeptic groups, and other forms of propaganda. Due to the success of his movements, Mr. Wu generates residual income from his websites, which allows him to make a living while having the freedom to do what he wants and help others. He also aims to become a perpetual traveler and experience the treasures and wonders of the world. His calling and aspiration is to help liberate and awaken others from fear and enslavement. Wu lives by the philosophy that “new experiences” are what enrich and create meaning and special memories in life - whereas long-term “settled routines” lead to only time passing by without meaningful lasting memories. As such, he advocates that one should not live in a state of fear consciousness (which many societies condition their citizens into in order to keep them weak and obedient), but in a state of conscious awareness, so that one can follow their passions and allow new possibilities to come into their life. In this way, one is free to make smart choices from a state of awareness to live the life one truly wants, rather than conform to others’ expectations. Among his passions and interests are writing, traveling, culture, museums, theatre, the arts, romantic places, instrumental music, 80’s music, chess, history, philosophy, spirituality, metaphysics, paranormal studies, alternative ideas and media, meeting intelligent interesting people, having deep conversations, hiking, nature, exploring national parks, and racket sports such as tennis, badminton and ping pong.
