Steven Cohen, 49, came to the United States in 1982 at the age of 19 and joined the United States Army for four years serving three 6 months tours in the Sinai Desert as part of a joint peacekeeping force (MFO). After leaving the army Steven came to California and worked in a number of sales jobs for such blue chip companies as McGraw Hill, Pepsi and Prentice Hall. Looking to establish himself in one of his passions Steven forced his way in to the music industry in the early 90’s and worked for numerous record labels in a publicity capacity. He had the privilege of working with both Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash and helping the late June Carter Cash win a Grammy for her final project ‘Press On.” In 2001 Steven left the music industry and started a career in radio and quickly formed a company called Soccer Weekly, Inc that produced World Soccer Weekly, and later World Soccer Daily. The show that started as one hour Saturday morning LA show soon started to catch on and became the first daily national soccer the US had ever known. In 2004 Steven was hired by Fox Soccer Channel to host a new TV show called “Fox Football Friday” which later became “Fox Football Fone In.” Steven was on air talent for five years with the 2008/2009 season being his last. World Soccer Daily came to a close on August 21st 2009 and on Friday, August 28th World Football Daily was created. Steven left the soccer world on April 1st 2011 siting burn out and the experience that he had gone through with Liverpool fans worldwide had simply taken its toll. Steven had been the victim of hundreds of thousands of death threats, vile Anti-Semitism, threats against his wife and stepdaughters as part of a worldwide boycott of this shows and businesses by Liverpool fans, who were offended by his views on the Hillsborough disaster of 1989. Steven is currently finishing a book about his experiences to be published in June 2012 called “iTerror”. The book makes the case against Liverpool Football Club and their fans and catalogs their history of 135 murders while managing to take no responsibility for it by scaring even some of America's largest corporations such as ESPN, FOX and Sirius XM with their sheer numbers. Steven Cohen is a supporter of Barcelona Football Club, and also loves music, politics, film, TV, and social media and is quite certain that The Wire is the greatest TV show ever. Steven lives in Los Angeles, Ca.

Fighting Cancer? A Battle Plan for Hope! by Fred Wittig Fighting Cancer? A Battle Plan for Hope! by Fred Wittig April 03, 2012 $99.99 7045 words Sample 15%
Author bio:
A little background about me, Fred Wittig: Born in Green Bay,WI 1 year at UW Madison – 2 years at MSOE, engineering35 years in the manufacturing industry related to machining and manufacturing. Machinist, Supervisor, Mfg Engineer, Chief Engineer, National Sales Manager at a number of companies. Applications Engineer Independent Representative for special machine builders. Taught Math at Tech school part time and an in house training program for exceptional employees. Speciality in high volume machining concepts, problem solving and innovative processes. Other ventures: Solar Energy, Septic Design and inspection, Festival Characters, Energy conservation. My path to natural health research: 2001 I purchased a health food store to be more involved in the community and impact my 6 successful children and grandchildren. 2006 my wife, Dawn, found a lump… breast cancer. I turned my engineering problem solving skills combined with the many contacts we had with the store suppliers, our radio health show, extensive health library, and web to find answers. When my boss, Klaus Werner, founder of ATS, passed away with cancer I knew I had to keep working on this. It didn’t take long to see what they were doing made no scientific or common sense. I also could see that the drug system was powerful and controlled everyone related to the cancer industry and was unbelievably heartless. Then a major breakthrough happened with the discovery of Dr. Simoncini and other humanitarian MD’s, especially Dr. Tel-Oren. Juggling a number of small business ventures, researching cancer was only part time but never stopped. Over the last few years I let go of other activities and focused more intensely on the cancer project that led to a unique approach that was so simple but not written about. It is interesting that this approach or system can be applied successfully to other health issues like MS, Diabetes, and most so called incurables. It seems like a wide open field to solving so many health issues including the most important…… prevention. Another recent breakthrough blessing was finding an amazing new team of helpers/partners who came with degrees, experience and a passion for wellness.(just ckeck out the link to the Healthy Way Store, and read about our incredible staff) Many people have done this program and none that I am aware of were lost. Many were shown the program, refused and lost. Now is the time to find a way to communicate the program as we continue refining the protocol plus ongoing research for other issues. Consider joining us.

Author bio:
JoAnne French confesses to a lifelong love affair with our language. Since beloved 1950s high school and Whitworth University mentors predicted her fingers would always bear printer ink, JoAnne has found that quite true. She has followed many trails that honed skills in newswriting and editing, publishing, typesetting, printing, business forms design and graphic arts. Everything from logo design to Reagan election and tax campaign material is tucked into archives of her typesetting and graphics studio. Memory leis here shared reveal the swath from a country girlhood just outside Seattle, Washington to her widowhood years near Orlando, Florida. After graduation JoAnne taught briefly, then married. The path of that military marriage wove through San Francisco, Tacoma, San Antonio, Honolulu and the Washington, DC area. Along the way was more teaching, sales training, and then two sons JoAnne considers her singular accomplishment. A later marriage brought the move to Florida. Serendipity treasures followed with choral tours and family visits to Vienna, Prague, Frankfurt, Munich, London, Venice, Rome, Paris and any possible points between. Overflowing memory albums meant it was time to start writing! Adding to her own projects, being a valued “Word Sleuth” for diverse authors brings welcome diversion and new friends. JoAnne divides the rest of her slate for body and mind, she says...dedicated daily biking and yard work, sandwiched with avid reading and WSJ or NYT crosswords. She is not sure where her prodigious baking fits in, affirming often that chocolate is good for the soul! Continued singing with the Orlando First Presbyterian Church choir is still a priority...with more tour experiences perhaps adding to future writing.

Help! My Husband Just Retired by Gwen Rollings Help! My Husband Just Retired by Gwen Rollings March 29, 2012 $4.99 25854 words Sample 20%
Author bio:
Gwen Rollings was born Gwen Campagna to a mother raised in the Smokey Mountains of North Carolina and an Italian father from Boston, Massachusetts. Her mother married a serviceman in the mid 1940’s, and Gwen also married a serviceman (Marine). Gwen met her brother’s drill instructor at Parris Island, South Carolina when he was a young corporal in 1964. Their nomadic life has taken them and their four children, Gina, Buck, Lisa and Brittany, to live in over thirty different homes to include ones in Hawaii, Israel, Okinawa (Japan), Virginia, Kansas, South Carolina, North Carolina, and most recently Florida. Gwen graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude from the University of South Carolina with a degree in communication. She then received her Master’s Degree in Communication from George Mason University. After teaching at the college level for a number of years, she began a training and development company focusing on improving management and employee relations. Writing has been Gwen’s passion since she wrote and acted in her sixth grade play. She has loved every part of the creative writing process especially poetry. She wrote her first book of poetry, Seasons of a Woman, in 1998 after compiling her many poems and realizing the majority of her poetry focused on the many joys and challenges in a woman’s life. Her poem, “Footsteps At The Door”, was selected for inclusion in the Chicken Soup Series (Chicken Soup for the Military Wife’s Soul). After over three decades as a military wife, her husband, Major General Wayne Rollings, was finally leaving the Marine Corps. Gwen wanted to share her experiences as a military wife to give civilians a realistic look at the sacrifices and strength of the wives and families of the men who defend our country and encourage the young military wives just beginning their journey. Her book, We Band of Sisters, has inspired many young military wives to recognize how special and important their roles are as heroes on the home front. Finally, retirement was another cycle in the life of a woman that Gwen wanted to chronicle. Help! My Husband Just Retired has been the biggest surprise of all in their married life. Once again, Gwen is the spokesperson for a generation of women whose husbands come home from work one day and stay there…forever. Her candid, humorous and spiritual approach to all her writing is meant to entertain, inform and inspire women of every age and offer a few good and courageous men the opportunity for a glimpse into what women really think. Gwen's book of, Seasons of a Woman, received great reviews from women and men who wanted to give a lasting gift celebrating all the wonderful and chaotic events in a woman's life. One of the poems in that collected, entitled "Footsteps at the Door," was selected for inclusion in the Chicken Soup series: Chicken Soup for the Military Wife's Soul. Zandi Krulak, wife of former Commandant of the Marine Corps, General Charles C. Krulak, USMC, wrote about We Band of Sisters: "Gwen Rollings writes her heartwarming account of years spent as a Marine's wife with honesty and familiarity that assures you that she is telling it 'like it is.' Her conversational style makes for easy reading and the feeling that you would readily and quickly get to know this lady, and feel comfortable with her whether you had met her when she was a general's wife or a corporal's. Help! My Husband Just Retired is presently available as an ebook and will be available as published book in the near future. Gwen has discovered this season of retirement is like starting all over again as a married couple. After almost forty years of living together but frequently separated due to career responsibilities, parenting, graduate degrees, and different interests, being "joined at the hip" created a whole new set of challenges, laughter, and role confusion. Every woman on the threshold of retirement will definitely benefit from Gwen's initiaal trials and errors. Women already on the retirement road for a while will relate to this must read humourous and informative narrative while will reveal what the retirement seminars leave out!.

William and Edrina Sinclair are co-authors. They met in 1986 and committed to each other for life in 1987. Their relationship has been a roller coaster of failures and successes, mostly because of William’s anger issues from his childhood. It took a lot of counseling and self-help to keep their relationship on track. “We made a decision that we both had to work on our relationship, as well as ourselves, if we wanted our relationship to work,” says Edrina. As well as having four children depending on them, their commitment to be together for life with no exit door, barring physical abuse, helped them work through the tough times and rejoice in the great times. Their commitment to each other and to just make it work has overflowed to other couples who come to them for coaching. William and Edrina have developed workshops, keynotes, seminars and materials, all using real life examples from their own relationship, to help other couples succeed. They write a weekly newspaper column on relationships called, “Dirty Socks and Banana Bread” which is in the process of being syndicated across North America. They are also excited to bring out their first book, “Love and Relationship: How to Love and Make it Last” which is based on their own life experiences and lessons. The world needs couples who have strong relationships and William and Edrina are striving to help every couple who asks.
