| Author bio: Anthony Burns was born in 1979, and is the son of Welsh poet and novelist Sheenagh Pugh. Working Stiffs | by Lucy Leitner May 04, 2012 | $4.99 | 79189 words | Sample 20% |
| Author bio: By getting Working Stiffs published at 28, Lucy Leitner accomplishes her rather dubious goal of being on the same career timeline as Hunter Thompson. She has worked among the (brain) dead in web writing, print media, and the Japanese machine tool game. She finds long walks on the beach tedious and filled with sand. On warm summer nights, she enjoys a glass of red wine and a symposium on the impending zombie apocalypse. This foresight has elevated her to being the entire Board of Directors at breaking news site DailyGhoul.com. Lucy loves movies about phone booth time travel and bands with an unnecessary amount of X’s in their names. Known by many aliases, she has parlayed the dollars she won betting on hockey games into an impressive collection of groceries. |

The Path to Darkness Volume 2 : Three Tales of the Macabre | by R.M. Putnam May 03, 2012 | $0.99 | 16556 words | Sample 20% |
| Author bio: I took great pleasure in writing Destiny's Warriors. Celt myth and the wonderment of Pagan gods sent me on a journey that took 17 years to write all ten novels in the series. The brutality of human sacrifice to appease the gods is a part of history that is horrific. And, the idea of Gods having to deal with the same emotional issues as mortal man was fascinating for me to create. This wonderful journey into mystical realms guided me to continue and finish the saga. I tell of enchanted warriors, mystical creatures and monsters such as Crimson Death and Banshees. The struggle to survive, heartache, betrayal and rivalry are what my characters have to face in this fantasy. You'll cry, cringe in fear and feel in awe at the romance as you read my tale. I hope you enjoy reading Destiny's Warriors. May a Rainbow be your guide down destiny's path. R. M. Putnam |

Revived: First Steps | by G Johanson May 03, 2012 | Free! | 5621 words | Sample 30% |
| Author bio: I write fiction in the paranormal genre, with all of my stories linked in some way. Immortal witches, spiritualist mediums and street magicians populate my books, along with many other supernatural characters and creatures and even some ‘normal’ people too. Accursed was my first major project that made me think seriously about writing. Originally designed as a prequel to another book I had written to showcase a supporting character, Accursed, developed a life of its own and expanded beyond the novella I had planned to become a trilogy. World War II has always fascinated me dating back to my days studying history at GCSE and A-level and the idea was to place my central character during this tumultuous time and then make his life get even more complicated. By the end of the book the inexperienced GI and medium has had to grow up fast during very difficult circumstances. As a writer I like to form a basic structure for the plot and adapt the details as I write, though I often find that the characters ultimately determine the direction of the book, taking it away from my original ideas as their personalities take shape. At times I could very much relate to the lead character upon his journey 'down the rabbit hole' into a new and bizarre world of witchery and mysticism as some of the twists and turns surprised me too. The original ending for Accursed would not have lent itself to a sequel so I'm pleased I adapted. Lastly, how to categorise my work? I like to consider my material wholly unique, which I don't think anyone would disagree with. The terms paranormal saga or paranormal romance fit as genres, though I think the term I'm most comfortable with would be paranormal pulp. As a connoisseur of the great pulp books of the past I embrace the term because with pulp you know you're going to get a good story told simply and effectively and that's what I hope I've delivered. |

Blood Empire | by John Madderson May 03, 2012 | $2.99 | 42720 words | Sample 20% |
| Author bio: Hi. My name is John Madderson and I love writing horror. I was born in the small industrial seaside town of Blyth Northumberland. In 1964 I joined the Army and enlisted into the Royal Northumberland Fusiliers where in 1966 I met my wife Sylvia while on leave from Germany en-route to Aden and active service. On returning to England Sylvia and I were married and in 1968 we were blessed with our son Lee Raymond. In 1977 I left the army and went into self-employment for a great number of years. I have had a full life but now nearing my retirement I have taken up writing and dedicate my time into bringing back the original saga of Dracula and the blood craved beast he was created to be (with a slight twist.) My books, under the sub-title “The Vampire Hunter,†are a series of four books each depicting a separate time in the past, present and future. The two main characters the villain Alucard, and the hero Joseph Beck, are locked in an eternal battle from which there can be but one survivor. Enjoy John Madderson. |

The GG | by Jay M Horne May 02, 2012 | $0.99 | 2442 words | Sample 20% |
| Author bio: Jay Horne sprouted up among the roots of a literary family tree. His grandparents on his mother's side, were both English teachers in a rural community, and traveled to every country on the globe. His mother and sister are exquisite artists, and his uncle a published poet. His aunt was retiring from her life-long work as a school principal just as Jay's writing career really started to blossom. What started as an outsource for Jay's extremely soft-spoken personality, writing became a love of his when he happened upon a handful of short stories he had written as a child. Those stories were published in two volumes, as-is called published youth, in 2009. Since the time of his first book, Life's a Joke!, which he is now admittedly embarrassed to claim at times as his own, he has successfully published over 30 works of literary art, some in more than 3 languages. His most notable being, Hubudi, a romantic fantasy that returns a couple of conflicting beliefs to pangea through the raising of the tower of babel and the union of their forbidden loves. He helps authors find their way to the public spotlight through his website http://www.bookflurry.com and has published for more than 40 authors all over the world. |

| Author bio: My new books, "Anthology of Evil" and "Death of Heaven", are out along with my short, "Simon’s Beautiful Thought"! I started writing when I was at the University but haven't really pursued it seriously until recently. My first published short horror story was back in 1992. More recently, I had two short stories published in two anthologies, both on Amazon (The Undead Nation Anthology and Rhonny Reaper's Creature Features Anthology) and Smashwords. But now I have my own works available. I have been concentrating on writing screenplays (HearthTales - Horror / comedy, and Dark of kNight - a paranormal romance) but enjoy writing short stories, mostly Horror or Science Fiction. I've been working on a memoir, but it's hard telling when I'll ever get that finished. Although I am getting closer. I have a B.A. in Psychology and for many years I was a Sr. Technical Writer. But there isn't much character or story development in that career and certainly no punch, at the end. I was a Sergeant in the US Air Force as a Survival Equipment Specialist and Parachute Rigger, among other work. |

Zombies! Episode 2.7: The Truth is Stranger Than Fiction | by Ivan Turner April 29, 2012 | $0.99 | 27020 words | Sample 20% |
| Author bio: A child of the movies, I was always consumed by fantastic stories told by others and translated into adventures to be retold by me through the action figure medium. As I grew older, I put the action figures away and moved into the realm of role playing. Though I never outgrew role playing, I certainly don't have the time for it anymore. Since I was eleven years old, I've been pouring almost every ounce of creative energy I have into writing. I graduated college in 1993 with a degree in computer science. I tried my hand at programming for a couple of years and found it pretty unsatisfying. I later became a partner at a comic book store, where I spent several years. Though it wasn't a financial success, the experience I gained from running the store and the people that I met (many whom I'm still in touch with today) was priceless. After leaving the store, I settled into a career of teaching. I still teach at a public high school in New York. Ironically, I've picked up computer programming again, which is what I mostly teach, peppered with some math courses now and again. I've been writing the whole time. I released my first book electronically in 2010. Forty Leap was, and still is, the pinnacle of my writing to date. It was a turning point for me in both style and story building. The Book of Revelations, which was written earlier but released later, was sort of a midway point between the writer I was and the writer I've become. I experimented with a very odd style and a story that employed diverse characters and controversial situations. In September 2010, I released the first installment of Zombies! It went out for free, the subsequent episodes each priced at 99 cents. Zombies! has been a tremendous success for me and I'm currently working with someone to develop it into a television series. |
