Bloch Cancer Foundation and the Bloch Cancer Hotline 1-800-433-0464 are FREE. In 1978, Richard Bloch, co-founder of H & R Block, Inc., was diagnosed with “terminal” lung cancer. With the help of his wife, Annette, doctors who said he could beat the cancer, and his own determination, Bloch waged a bitter two-year war on the insidious disease. So dramatic was his fight and recovery that Bloch and his wife devoted their lives to helping people who have been diagnosed with cancer. They founded R. A. Bloch Cancer Foundation with this in mind. Visit http://www.blochcancer.org for more information. +1-800-433-0464 is the number for every newly diagnosed cancer patient. It is a totally free service (cash donations are never solicited) operated by volunteers who have had cancer. The goal is to match up the newly diagnosed patient with an individual who has recovered from the same type of cancer. The purpose is not to recommend specific treatments or physicians, but to figuratively put their arm aroundthe new patient and help them make the myriad of decisions they will have to make if they are going to have a chance to beat this disease. I Am Coming, Volume 5 by Susan Davis I Am Coming, Volume 5 by Susan Davis Jan. 12, 2012 Free! 86863 words Sample 50%
Author bio:
This bio is about both Susan and Sabrina. Around 2007 or so, the LORD brought together two people from two different parts of the globe, one in the U.S. and the other in Belgium. Sabrina, Belgium, and I, Susan, U.S. became friends because I had posted some information about GOD online and I received an email from her about it. I was involved in church outreach at the time and she was having struggles in a very secular region of the world with outreach. I felt the LORD wanted me to support her as she and I both struggled with issues of outreach in our communities, thus began a wonderful friendship, but we did not know that GOD had bigger plans for our lives. Sabrina had the unique gift of being able to hear the voice of the LORD and I totally believed and supported her gift. Then recently she let me know that the LORD had a gift for me, I soon found out that the gift was also hearing the voice of the LORD, I started to write down letters HE gave me recently and I have been filling many notebook pages. The messages are very, very serious, the LORD told us we needed to get these messages out without delay–so here are the letters I received, you can read more about us at the bottom of this message. Please pass this message on to whomever you think needs to read this. Then I, Sabrina, asked the LORD what about your, Susan’s, letters: “I have spoken to her so she might learn to understand MY Voice. Send the word out about MY soon coming. Don’t be shy about a thing. The world must get penetrated with MY words. Everybody must know that I am coming very soon. Many do know, but are not ready. Therefore send out MY words! Send them out & don’t be shy about a thing.” Then the LORD said: “This refers also to you, me, Sabrina, MY daughter, don’t be shy about a thing any more. Do it soon!” Our personal background info: Hello. MY name is Sabrina. Let me introduce myself a bit. I became a Christian in 1992. God has done a huge job in me concerning emotional recovery. It has been an intense, difficult, painful and long journey, but it has led to an intense wonderful intimate friendship with God. God has been MY perfect counselor. He has treated me with His tender care, wisdom and especially a lot of patience. God’s heart’s desire was and is intimacy with His children and this also became MY heart’s desire. I learned to hunger and thirst for everything from Him. I learned to worship Him in all MY circumstances, no matter how I felt. I learned to have a personal relationship with the Holy Spirit and I discovered that it was He who spoke to me in MY mind. I created a deep respect for Him and invited Him every day in MY prayers to fill and lead me completely. I did everything not to hurt Him. One day in 2006 God started talking to me about His soon coming. The Lord has also told me that the fact I always hear His Voice, is His gift of grace for me. Later I understood that this gift would also be used in the prophetic and encouraging field for other people. But the principal of this gift was, that He would use me in this end-time to speak about His soon coming. In April 2008 God told me it was important to spend much time with Him. This desire grew also in MY heart more and more and the Lord said to me that this was also His desire and His Holy Spirit’s. From then on I put a number of specific days for Him separately during the week. I filled these days with prayer, Bible reading, reading books, listening to good Bible studies on the internet, worship, etc. But it also happened that the Holy Spirit urged me to go to evangelize to someone. Heaven is too real for me, time too short and the exhortations of the Lord too strong for something else to do. On January 6 2010, I had a prophetic rapture dream. Though I was engaged much in these matters, I had not received many rapture dreams. This was MY second. The Lord explained that His Coming will be sudden, with great power, followed by immediate panic and chaos. On May 25 2010, God gave me an important dream of the bride. The explanation was this: “It is important for MY Bride to prepare herself. Behold, I come quickly and then there will be no more time to make up. MY Bride must prepare now. Be ready! I am ready. “God spoke in a serious tone! On July 9 2010, God gave me an encouraging word. Here is an excerpt from the letter: ‘MY dear daughter, write it down. Know that everything here is as good as ready. There is nothing stopping ME to come for MY bride. Everything is ready. The table for the eternal marriage stands ready. The angels are on post. Everyone is rejoiced & enthusiast! Oh what a joy it will be when I come for MY bride! I want you to encourage each other with these words. It is only the grace of MY Father who holds the sound of the trumpet. Millions of people are still lost.‘ In all those years, I have received many confirmations whenever the Holy Spirit talked to me, through the bible, books or other people’s testimony, preaching, teachings. MY only goal is to be completely obedient to Him. MY days are completely for Him, as I don’t go to work. I keep praying for everyone I witness to, take daily communion, just spent all MY time for & with the Lord. Thank you for taking the time to read all this, so you know MY walk with Him is serious. May the Lord bless you all! I was a Gay Liberation Front activist in London in the 1970s, among other things setting up West London GLF and organising gay dances attended by hundreds in Fulham Town Hall. I have experienced and benefited from the huge change in attitudes towards Gay men and Lesbians in England and elsewhere during recent decades. During my teenage years, in the UK any sex between men was a crime, whereas now civil partnership offers a legal status on a par with marriage, and discrimination on grounds of sexual orientation is increasingly outlawed. This transformation has huge implications for gay relationships, and my motive in writing is to explore the impact of this new freedom and portray its effects. My first novel, Goodmans Hotel, was published in 2003. My second, a more humorous book, Closer Than Breathing - A Light Gay Odyssey - came out in 2009. I believe my readers’ time is valuable, and try hard not to waste it. I live with my partner in West London, and am a member of GALHA, the UK based Gay and Lesbian Humanist Association.

It only takes a few minutes of thought before Peter Brandt can devise a scenario that would make a fantastic story, and minutes after that before it begins to fill itself in. “I have been able to think up stories all my life but it’s only been in the last seven years that I realized I was abusing my creative side by not writing them down.” Peter retired from the Air Force and began a new career as a Technical Writer. His writing abilities have allowed him to work in Canada, the United States and even in the Middle East. However, its Peter’s love for stories that has brought him into a new realm of writing. His humorous memoir about his life as a soldier in the Canadian Armed Forces and the tragic memoir about his father’s life in a Prisoner-of-War camp at the age of 14 allowed him to refine his writing before he began to venture in writing Young Adult fiction. “I have a very unique way of creating my stories. It begins with a craving, like a smoker who just recently quit cigarettes but still feels an overwhelming craving for a smoke. When that comes, I can’t shake it until I sit down and begin to let my mind wander. Many times I start my quest for a new story by wondering - What If. Soon after I begin to write and can usually get the first draft completed within a few weeks. Maple Express began as a “what if” question that involved a common held belief of the medical community and I’d share it with you but it would give away the storyline.” Peter has taken formal lessons in acting, "I've enjoyed some success as an actor in television and film before my day job as a Lead Technical Writer required me to move out of the country I always write my stories as I see them on the movie screen, which is why writing screenplays are also something I do with ease. I have written a couple of screenplays and shot them as short films with a friend of mine. I can honestly say I have landed in the perfect job for me. I love to write...doesn’t really matter what I write, creatively or technically, writing is a pleasurable experience. It has allowed me to travel and for that I am grateful.”

Author bio:
I'm a writer. I write primarily Fantasy, and I write a lot of it. There's an argument among Fantasy writers, and readers too, as to whether the rule "Write what you know" applies. I'm firmly of the "Write what you know" school; in my humble opinion, there is a much to be "known" about Fantasy as there is any other genre. My stories feature a lot of sword-fighting, camping and horse-riding, all of which I do indeed know enough about to write on. ABOUT MY BOOKS: Akurite Empire is a trilogy. While each book is a complete story in its own right, reading all three in sequence will be much more fun than reading one or two in random order. Romancing The Sword is a quintet (quintology?) set five years prior to the events of Akurite Empire and covering much of the back story. It is a massive epic and intended to be read as such; the story-arcs overlap from one book to another. Then there are the Sorcha stories... These are Fantasy Erotica, and as such feature much higher sexual content than my other books. They also cross over the plots of other books, presenting a different perspective on events as detailed in the main series. Anonymous & Sifu are comedies, and though they feature the character of Sifu Dansac, both can be enjoyed individually. Sifu's Kung Fu Secrets, despite being written in the style of a demented Chinaman, contains real martial arts. Don't try this stuff, you'll hurt people. It's written in the style of a mad Chinaman so that no one will take it seriously. The Flame of Freedom was a paid commission in collaboration with the scriptwriter Gabriel Murray. It is a historical novel distinct from the rest of my work. I've been writing for about ten years; I have a large back-catalogue that will be presented here as I complete final editing of each book. Although every effort is made to produce books clean of typos, some minor errors creep in. Anyone noticing such is invited to let me know so that it can be corrected. Any other feedback is also very welcome; readers can contact me via Facebook if they so desire. I'm also offering a generous 25% on the affiliate program for all my books. Got a good publicity base on-line, but only a small catalogue of books to offer? Loot mine, I have over a dozen titles and more coming out on a weekly basis.

I believe that too much personal information about an author can detract from a reader's enjoyment of his works, since the written word can and should survive on its own and doesn't need the crutch of an author's personal trivia. I don't want to seem evasive, however, or rude to my readers, so I will try to add a little biography. The overwhelming motivation of my life has been to attempt to be the good citizen, the boy scout. I've been the blood donor, the volunteer construction worker, one of the men and women happy to spend the day cleaning up the nearby park or the neighborhood. I want to like myself; I want to like the people around me. Of course, these activities rarely provide any fodder for interesting books or short stories, so I have to search far beyond my favorite environment for ideas.

Bathed in Blood: The Transfiguration of Ruxandra cel Rău by Alex O'Connell Bathed in Blood: The Transfiguration of Ruxandra cel Rău by Alex O'Connell Nov. 26, 2011 You set the price! 14744 words Sample 30%
Author bio:
In his formative years Alex O’Connell deserted from the French Foreign Legion after mistaking it for the British Legion and finding that it was far from an ideal place to find cheap beer and a quiet game of dominoes with the lads. Despite the bad memories, he still finds himself singing Le Boudin when he’s drunk. He is unsure whether he would be permitted to enter Canada and uses it as an excuse for avoiding Belgium. Rumour has it that he was thrown out of the Cork affiliate of the LA street gang the Crips for being way too mean. But as O’Connell sagely says, you shouldn’t always listen to rumours. To his enduring shame, in 2008 he was blackballed by the Hell’s Angels after turning up for a Chapter meeting on his BMX bicycle, explaining that his Raleigh Chopper was being serviced by his friend Eddie. This is not likely to be true as Eddie denies even knowing O’Connell. Satanists and the Catholic Church are united in their condemnation of O’Connell. The Satanists have excommunicated him but this is a step too far for the Catholics who fear his reprisals. O’Connell’s wife has asked for a divorce for her birthday for the last three years but he has always ended up getting her something cheaper. His children, Dubhlainn, his favourite, the other boy and the girl, Deirbhile, all claim that they are adopted. Unsurprisingly, O’Connell doesn’t like to talk about himself much. He is available for weddings, christenings and bar mitzvahs and works cheaply. Alex O’Connell lives in fear of vampire attacks. He believes his special O-negative blood group makes him an especially attractive target. *** ‘O’Connell’s my kinda guy. I’d fix him a Daiquiri and take him marlin fishing. I could listen to those vampire stories of his for hours… well until about 9ish. After that I get a bit tired.’ Ernest Hemingway.

Nova Chalmers never intended to write erotica. In fact, she did her best to avoid it. Her galactic travels, however, introduced her to too many promising predicaments, steamy scenarios, luscious liaisons and alluring aliens, for her to continue resisting temptation. Now that she's been converted, (and occasionally contorted) she's armed with a bevy of torrid affairs behind her and an arsenal of sexy stories to share. Pay it forward, she says. Not that she pays for it, mind you. Then again, she always says she'll try anything once...at least twice if she likes it.

Seven Visitations from God, Twelve Revelations from Heaven by Kevin Hofsas Seven Visitations from God, Twelve Revelations from Heaven by Kevin Hofsas July 07, 2009 You set the price! 45094 words Sample 100%
Author bio:
Kevin Hofsas has seen the face of God—an Impossible Event—needing the favor of God and the circumvention of the law of nature—‘for no man may see the face of God and live,’ Exodus 33:20. One condition for this encounter was set when Kevin wandered far from God on a counterfeit path of salvation. While there, a lesser event misappropriated the laws of life and death, circumventing the natural law God foreordained. To understand the lesser event, first understand that humans are luminous beings. What is a luminous being? It is a creature of light. We cannot see it with our natural eyes, but in the realm of the spirit, every human is a luminous being. What does a luminous being look like? It appears as a lightning bright radiance that extends outward from a human body two feet and is egg shaped. It consists of countless billions of laser taunt, hair-fine strands of light. And every single strand is alive with a lightning bright brilliance. And, the luminous being perceives with . . . all of them. Why is it hidden from us? Because the luminous creature requires a person to mature through more levels than is humanly possible. A process derailed by Original Sin in the Garden of Eden. Yet Jesus revealed this on the mount of transfiguration in Matthew 17:2. Multiple times in God’s word, angels have also shone brightly. Scripture points out God is light, He shines like the sun and promises to make us like him. Christ himself foretold of this transformation in Matthew 13:43, ‘Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father.’ So to understand the event that permitted God to reveal his face to Kevin, one must first grasp this luminous aspect. It is a huge step to believe. Kevin, when he first read of it, thought, ‘If this is true, it’s the best thing that could ever happen!’ Launching into the unknown, he determined to find out if the claim was true. As it happened, while upon that false path, the luminous creature was awakened by a preposterous, unbelievable act—the act of tricking it with a false death. The false death awakened the slumbering luminous creature and is why God did not break his own word when He revealed His face to Kevin. For the luminous creature cannot remotely be considered a man—and the event of tricking the luminous body with a false death still qualifies as death. God’s word remains true—no man may see the face of God and live. In Kevin’s own words, “After the fruitlessness of that false path unfolded, God brought me back to himself through the matchless grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.” And it is for you, friend, that Kevin has written of his rapturous, mesmerizing, blessed encounters with the Most High God. The same God who created the universe. The God who created you. The God who loves you.
