Lisa stared out of her kitchen window. She tossed her ideas, and then she blinked. Time passed very slow, much too slow to be called a passage through a journey. The world felt as though it had stopped. She felt as though her life had stopped also.

“People on TV have all these exciting lives, and I'm stuck just looking out of a kitchen window;” she sighed as she glared at the scene outside.

Lisa drew in a slow breath that seemed to stick inside of her lungs. The world was a ball of eternal still, and she was nothing but a victim stuck inside of it.

“This is the worst!” complained Lisa as she moved to turn away.

Suddenly a car drove up the driveway. It parked outside of her house. Lisa turned back to the window, and saw her husband's car. Her husband was Dale. He hopped out of the car, and he waved hello. Lisa uncurled a hand, and waved also. She smiled a little in the corners of her mouth, and then she calmly walked to the front door.

Lisa opened the door, and leaned on the door-frame as her husband walked towards the house. He glared at her as he ambled up to her, and then he greeted Lisa with a kiss which made Lisa's cheek peach pink.

“Where's my bed!” declared Dale, as he moved inside with so much enthusiasm it clued Lisa in that he might have had a good day.
