If you are reading this introduction, you or someone you know, probably needs a GREAT BIG HUG!!! Obviously you care about another individual who has health problems, or you are facing a health “experience” yourself.

I offer practical, powerful, profound advice and solutions to each reader from my heart and from my soul’s “experiences” during sickness, degenerating health, disease, chronic illness and even sudden or inevitable death. I have been the patient, caregiver, friend, instructor, cheerleader, medical intuitive, energy healer, consultant and bearer of good and bad tidings.

I supported those who were dying and helped in their transition. I have shared disorders, disabilities, despair, untimely death, miracles, healing and triumphant joy personally and with my clients.

Throughout the years as a holistic integrative medicine specialist and distant energy healer, I’ve researched and developed practical tools and techniques for clients. Feeling better, getting healthier, facilitating self healing and having a better quality of life is my goal for you. I’ve spent years testing, refining and putting these techniques to work in my life and my client’s lives. They’ve been used in real health scenarios, case studies and medical healthcare situations.

The results and testimonials gathered from clients, friends and family concluded that we eradicated or had less pain, had less ongoing medical problems and complications and fewer new symptoms and recurrences. Plus we defeated and deleted some health problems completely. We also had more vitality and a more fulfilling, better quality of life.

There are no guarantees with any of the suggested solutions, conceptual principles, healing prayers or affirmations in this publication. Use only the suggestions that resonate with you. These concepts are to be used in combination with and in addition to your healthcare regime and NOT as a substitute for medical procedures or treatments.

My Definitions
Check point:
Check point is the phrase I use to represent a workbook section with examples for you to utilize each concept. Check points have questionnaires, how to do’s, quizzes, take action directives and offer mental exercises plus practice sessions. I ask you to question, evaluate and determine how to change what you are doing, saying or thinking in order to heal. Your answers will help you identify what you need to reprogram and the challenges you need to rise above. You will learn what to say and to reformat your thinking in order to have better health.

Experience:
Webster’s Dictionary defines “experience” as “an actual living through an event or events.” This concept is my basic premise. I want you to THINK and LIVE as if your health “experience” will visit for a while and then BE GONE!

Entities:
An entity “is something that has a separate existence, though it need not be a material existence” according to Wikipedia. When I use this term in the prayers, it denotes memories created by people, events or emotions in your past or those who are deceased that affect your life today. Example: Your deceased father who treated you unfairly in this life. His memory is an “entity” that creates anger in you today. Many people harbor “entities” that have a negative bearing on their current life.

Energy:
Energy is to your physical body what gasoline is to a car. Energy is not “calories,” it’s the invisible propellant that actually keeps you physically alive and moving. If you don’t have energy you can’t use your body.

Think about this, you can’t see electricity, but you know its runs almost everything. Without energy, all the electrical functions shut down. Or how about a battery, you put it in a flashlight, when it runs out of energy, the light goes out. When you lose your energy, your life is gone.

You arrive in this lifetime with a specific amount of “energy” which is your “spark of life.” Every person has a different energy level. Some are mellow, others are constantly in motion. Your energy level is part of who you are.

Everyday living depletes a portion of your energy. Every medication requires energy to be digested into your body’s systems and then processed throughout your cells. Talking, walking uses energy, so does dealing with negative Aunt Thelma, arguing with your boss or co-worker, reading those gossipy emails or listening to your “drama” friend.

All activities use energy and deplete your energy storehouse.

Sleep helps restore energy on a daily basis, like refilling a car’s gas tank. That’s why a good night’s rest is medicinal.

It is essential, when you have health issues, to use your energy to perform only vital and necessary activities so you can preserve and direct as much of your energy as possible to your healing processes.

Never waste your energy!

Frequency:
Every cell (made up of lots of molecules) that exists has what scientists call a “frequency” which vibrates at a measurable rate. For example, an EKG measures your heart (a specific group of cells) pumping (vibrating in a pattern) at a certain frequency (measureable rate) that determines whether or not you have a healthy heart. Your EKG is a photograph of your heart’s “vibrational frequency” or energy pattern.

Energy is the name of life’s fuel. Gas is the name of car fuel. Octane is the performance measurement of automobile fuel. Vibrational frequency is the performance measurement of energy in your body. When you use high octane gas, your car runs better. When you keep your body’s energy at a high frequency (a high vibrating pattern like a “high test” fuel) your body runs smoother and you are healthier.

From an energy frequency perspective, when the human body is weak or has health issues your cells shimmy at lower frequencies than when your system is healthy. You feel like you are “dragging” like a damaged car rattles and sluggishly chugs along. With a lower frequency you have less performance optimization in your body’s various systems.

A weakened body needs to have a higher operating frequency/energy level to maintain a healthier body.

Example: Think about how easy it is to put a straw into a slow turning fan to wreak havoc with its system. When the fan is on high speed, it’s almost impossible to introduce something into its blades because it blows the approaching menace away. Your body’s energy is like that fan. When operating at a high speed frequency your body more easily wards off any approaching disorder and drives out any interior health issues or diseases.

FYI, there are instruments that scientifically measure how fast your molecules/ cells/ organs are vibrating. This measurement determines each organ’s “frequency.” There is even a healing modality called vibrational medicine. You can find more information at the library, bookstores or online. Below are a few samples of what researchers have learned:

• A healthy body vibrates at 62 through 70–78 MHz (MHz: megahertz is the scientific code name and symbol for a vibrational frequency rate, like “hi test” and regular are measurements for gas).

• Disease can come into your body when you are run down to less than 62 MHz Example: you get sick more easily when you are exhausted or worn down.

Negative thoughts and people lower your body’s frequency. That’s why you feel “drained,” you ARE!

Happy thoughts, joy and laughter, raise your body’s frequency and produce chemicals that make you feel better.

Prayer and meditation raises your body’s frequency.

God / the Universe / Your Higher Power:
Every individual who acknowledges a Higher Power in their life calls it by a certain name. I ask that you insert and use YOUR name for the Force that you consider to be the Higher Power in your life when I use this phrase. If you want to tweak a prayer or affirmation to resonate better with your beliefs, then I’m thrilled to have provided a window to help expand your awareness.

Key Principles:
This symbol is used throughout my workbook to denote concepts that are key principles to creating health and constructing a better quality of life.

Life Journey:
Your life journey is what you came on earth to experience and evolve through to be all you can be. The concept of your soul’s life journey, soul’s path or your destiny on earth is called Karma

Some people came to earth to have a health disease or disorder as their life’s contribution to the world. Example;
A client with MS, who tried everything in to get well. Anne was secure financially and in a position to influence many lives. During her lifetime she established a foundation and many permanent fund raisers for those with MS, like Susan Komen did for breast cancer. It is my belief that Anne, Susan and others came to earth to have their health conditions as their soul’s life purpose in order to better the lives of millions.

So how do you know if your health issue is Karmic? If you grow through it, get better by expanding your vision, mind and lifestyle, then its part of your life journey. If you do everything you can to exhaust every option to heal and along the way create contributions to inspire and help just one person then your health challenges are part of your life purpose to benefit others.

Diane suffered through a brain tumor and had a series of strokes. She is a role model of what you CAN DO even when doctors said she “can’t or never will do.” She asked me what I thought her life purpose was and then off handedly mentioned that she was “drawn to” those who had suffered a stroke. I asked if her interest was because she felt sorry for stroke survivors. She replied “no, it’s just something I can’t explain way down deep inside.”

Today, Diane is helping and being a care manager for stroke victims. As a single Mother and provider for two well educated young gentlemen, she is an inspirational example of how emotional grit, pure determination and sheer personal will CAN overcome the “cant’s” of a stroke. Her “health experience” led her to her life purpose.

Sometimes your health challenge is your door of opportunity to grow forward and flourish in a way that you would never ever previously considered. Ask your heart and be aware of what you are drawn and led to do. It will provide the authentic answer of your soul’s purpose.

Ask yourself what you can do with your “health experience” that will make going through your journey worthwhile.
Oftentimes, you can create something with the knowledge or experience that you have gained that will help and benefit others now and in the future.

23 Principles for Your Healing Journey
This manual’s suggestions and techniques teach and clearly show you how to create, select, redirect and transform all areas of your life for optimal health. I ask you to participate in each check point’s exercise, quiz or practice session. This will help you scrutinize your thought processes, emotional re-actions, environment, friends, family and how you intermingle with everything and everyone to create your breath-to-breath happiness and overall quality of life.

Use this workbook as a tool, underline it, take it with you and make it your friend. My clients found that by implementing these suggestions during treatments and procedures, they had little or no pain, were less stressed, had fewer or no complications, symptoms or side effects.

You have to keep on encouraging yourself! You owe it to yourself and your future to consider EVERY treatment option available to plan your healing strategy.

The greatest block to you getting healthy, is YOU thinking that it’s not possible.

NEVER be a victim. ALWAYS ask yourself, “What is the ‘learning opportunity’ here?”

Separate your PERSONAL IDENTITY from your medical condition’s physical symptoms.

You are NOT a disease or a medical condition. You are a PERSON, who is having a health challenge “experience.”

Recognize that a health “experience” comes and GOES!

Health “experiences” create opportunities for a life and lifestyle reset button!

Your health obstacle may be IN your physical body, it’s NOT in your Spirit or Soul!!!

Your medical condition is a current physical diagnosis.
Although it affects your existence now, it’s NOT necessarily a sentence for life.
The ONLY thing permanent is change!

Your “health experience” is NOT a guaranteed “never get well”, “never get better” or inevitable deterioration.
Don’t allow the tragic “why-bother-trying” attitude or blaming all your problems on your health challenges get you down.

Maintain your independence by directing your body to be healthy.

Fear accomplishes nothing and creates a downhill spiral that robs you of life.
Armed with knowledge, caution is positive

Always get two opinions and do research, rather than fearfully accepting any physical diagnosis or negative prognosis! Knowledge is empowering.
New medical cures occur every day!

Don’t “tolerate or allow” the bad with the good.
Only allow uplifting, nourishing supportive thoughts, people and actions in your life and surroundings.

With each breath you take, your choice of action and attitude ARE the tools and power you have to create the quality and consequences of your life in your next breath.
I suggest that you read this one again!

God looks at and loves your heart and soul, NOT your body parts!

Physical Healing Starts in Your Mind

The greatest block to getting healthy is YOU thinking that it’s impossible to do so.

Don’t be so blocked that YOU sabotage your life.’

Your Mind Over Your Matter:
It has been scientifically proven that there is a mind-body spirit connection. “Mind over matter” is more than a catchy phrase. There is an entire field of medicine called mind body medicine due to the continuing documentation that your mind body connection affects and directs your healing and health!

Researchers are discovering the “how” behind your brain’s ability to influence your physical healing. You may “fake out” your friends with your “good”, “I’m trying” intentions; however your body will not be deceived! According to Dr. Wayne Dyer in his book 10 Secrets for Success and Inner Peace, “you are the creator and selector of your thoughts.”

Dan Ferber, PhD wrote an article “Brain Powered” in Reader’s Digest, which illuminates “brain biology’s most amazing advances.” Ferber stated that “scientists have found that our brain may actually help our immune system fight disease. It took 20 years of careful experiments for Kevin Tracey, MD, a neurosurgeon, immunologist and director of the Feinstein Institute of Medical Research in Manhasset, New York to determine his findings. Tracey found that there is a hard-wired connection between the brain and immune system that he calls the ‘inflammatory reflex’. Tracey’s research indicates individuals ‘might be able to control their own brains to calm inflammation and fight disease.’”

Every thought you make has more ripple effects than you can fathom! In Power vs. Force, David Hawkins, M.D., illustrates how your consciousness creates thoughts that either weaken or strengthen you.

Think about this, when you are afraid, your heart races. It’s your body preparing you with the “fight or flight” response by heightening your senses and physical abilities to either protect yourself or to run.

Many times people in automobile wrecks or traumatic scenarios summon up extraordinary courage or personal strength because their mind thought “I MUST do this in order to survive,” and their body responded enabling them to accomplish the task.

My favorite illustration of the mind over matter principle is the man who had to cut off his arm in order to free himself or freeze while he was trapped under a rock on an icey snow covered mountainside. You know he had to “get his mind around” the pain of sawing off his own arm and then walk to find help. That is mind over matter! He definitely chose thoughts that ensured his survival. Your thoughts either empower or impair you.



The Placebo Effect:
Your body’s chemical system and physical reaction is dictated by what you think! Many individuals are “healed” by placebo pills because they “think” they will get well. The placebo effect is the perfect example of the mind body “can do” connection.

It starts with you thinking that you can and will get well by taking the placebo pill. Your disorder gets better. Your body has NOT responded to an actual medicine, treatment or procedure. Each person who took the placebo pill got better. How? By utilizing their own thought process to create their wellness.

Applying “I am well” thinking turns possibilities into probabilities. The positive mindset of placebo’s healing effects has been dismissed for years by drug companies because it wasn’t profitable or relevant to their research.
YOU have the power to be your own healer!



A Powerful Concept!
“I AM physically healed”:
thinking you “will be better” activates the healing process. Create a mindset for healing and health.

◊ “I AM physically healed, repaired and restored. I am physically strong!
I am full of energy and have an awesome quality of life.
Memorize this essential affirmation. Make this your mantra!

◊ "I AM physically healed!" Memorize that thought. Live it!
Live it and BE it! You are in a physical body. You want restoration of your body’s health and function, physical strength, vitality and quality of life.



Visualization:
Visualizing is another way to create better health. Do not limit your visualizations to JUST what you can imagine. God/Universe has limitless vision. Ask for and include “that which is for my highest and best good.”

Visualization is an integral part of the “law of attraction.” You draw the experience to you that you think about. This “law of attraction” is the principle behind the placebo effect and the declaration above. Thought energy becomes in real life, the manifestation of that thought
