The Hair Salon Killings: Vol. II Rhonda Returns

Rhonda had eliminated Albert Reo, removed detective Mibbs from his snooping and that undercover P.I. bitch Sandra Stone wouldn’t be bothering anybody’s business ever again. There were a few hours Rhonda thought it was all over and she would finally be caught. She had lost her mask of sanity temporarily and thought it would cost her the empire she had built on lies and murder, but it didn’t happen to her complete and utter amazement. Despite her rage and sloppiness in killing the detective and Albert Reo she had not been caught. It seemed there had been no witnesses when she killed Albert so gruesomely and publicly. As for the veteran detective Mibbs it seems his colleagues expected him to disappear any day so no search was ever mounted to look for him, turns out he wasn’t as respected as he thought more like tolerated. Sandra Stone’s murder was being investigated by detective Mibbs when he disappeared; it was chalked up to being another victim of the beauty salon killer who had been draining older women’s wealth and then killing them. After murdering them the killer would do their hair and makeup as if they had just left a salon, thus the name. Detective Mibbs was starting to put the pieces together; he figured out that Rhonda was the real beauty salon killer. She took care of him before anyone else could find out in a most unflattering manner. Now that he was gone there was no one to connect Rhonda to the murders and the trail was growing colder every day.

Still, Rhonda was feeling more paranoid than usual. She took a vacation for a couple of months. She left the various shops in the hands of her “stylists” they were under orders only to steal what was needed until Rhonda returned no one was to be killed. Rhonda took a trip to Rio for a few months and only killed one person there during that whole time. She had to remove the lover she had met while on vacation there, no witnesses to her presence could be allowed to live. After their last night of passionate lovemaking she gave him a lethal dose of poison, there was no time to do his hair and nails so she kissed him once and left a dying flower. After leaving her lover the way she liked them she headed to the airport, her money was running low for her tastes and it was time to go back and make sure everything was still under proper control. She trusted her girls, her “stylists” only so much.

Rhonda Returns From Rio

Upon her return from laying low for three months in Rio Rhonda walked back into her shop for the shock of her cruel and bitter life. She expected to return and find everything as she had left it; she left Gayle the stylist who had done Sandra Stone’s hair before she disappeared in charge of the various shops operations. When she returned Rhonda found out that Gayle had left and opened up her own salon less than five miles away taking seven other girls with her. It was obvious Gayle had been planning this departure for some time. She waited until Rhonda was far away to enact her plans.

“That dirty bitch! Three months and she forgets who she works for?” Rhonda asked to no one in particular upon hearing the news. Apparently there had been quite the mutiny when Rhonda was in Rio, Gayle and the other girls with her thought Rhonda was out of control, getting too old and crazy to run things efficiently. Most of the others including Veronica who delivered this news to Rhonda fought with Gayle and her followers, choosing to stay and serve Rhonda. It was Veronica in Gayle’s place managing the salons when Rhonda returned from Rio. Veronica was possibly the only person Rhonda would never consider for removal even before this little coup de tat by Gayle.
