Fiona looked at the clock that sat in the corner of the room. It was almost midnight. She felt cold. As cold as her heart. Her husband Adam had not come home. She was unsure where he was. She wanted to worry. However she didn't want to stress herself. So she watched television in order to get rid of her suspicions that she had been left behind in order to wait as he had a slumber party with a secretary or two.

“Stupid work!” Fiona steamed as she rubbed her brows together until they felt like lighting up with fire. “I hate it when he does this to me!” Fiona blasted before she settled down in order to sulk through the show.

Fiona glared at the television. She sulked as she watched it. It looked empty. She narrowed her eyes as she glared at the figures until they turned blurry. It was then Fiona felt her tears dribble, and she felt her belly shiver. She didn't know what to do, so she gave up watching television in order to get some rest.

Fiona didn't feel tired as she walked to the bed. She wanted to collapse however. Her depression had hit her, and she felt low. As low as a body of cereal that had been left on the floor to get stamped on. Fiona narrowed her eyes. \\

“I just want to collapse;” she muttered as she opened the door, and then dragged her feet to the bed, which she fell onto right away.
