Making Money without Ever Leaving Your Dorm Room

You are probably reading this book because you are a poor college student looking for extra ways to boost your income and put some extra cash in your pockets, right? If so, then you are in the right place. Students these days who typically try to make extra money, usually find themselves out and about working part time jobs or other things of that nature. Now to some of you that may sound okay, but for others that may seem a little too inconvenient, especially with all the opportunities available at college. That’s where this book comes in. In here you will find a lot of great things to do to help you earn a second income, without ever leaving the comfort of your own dorm room. Just imagine the possibilities…

College is time where your life truly changes. You meet new people, pursue a higher education in your desired field, and basically set your life’s path. However, for some college students, there is one thing that sometimes holds them back- having no money. But hey, don’t worry because here are some great ways to help you make some extra cash without ever leaving the comfort of your dorm room.

Let the money start rolling in!

P.S. You don’t have to be a student to successfully use these money making ideas. Believe it or not, these money making tactics can also be implemented in the convenience of your own home or maybe even your cubicle.

Having an Entrepreneurial Mindset is All You Need

Believe it or not, college is the best place to make money. Yeah, there are a lot of activities going on, you have a lot of homework, and you enjoy spending time with friends partying and what not. But I guarantee you that you have days where you have a few hours of downtime that is just filled with complete boredom. I know I do. Now who says those hours can’t be used making money? I’m not talking about going out and getting a part time job. I’m talking about sitting in pajamas in your dorm room, making money. I’m talking about sleeping in your comfortable bed and still making money at 3 am. I’m talking about sitting on you couch, literally watching your bank and PayPal account grow by the second. This, my friend, is what I like to call passive income and it requires no manual labor. I’ll get into more detail throughout this book.

Until recently, I have never really realized how easy it is to make money. I’ve found myself working my butt off all summer working at a fast food restaurant, making minimum wage, just for what, a small paycheck that’s been robbed by taxes. I have constantly woken up hating having to go to work and coming back home late at night. Then going to sleep and repeating the process. This was a life that I didn’t want to live for the rest of my summer and winter breaks, but I just stuck with it. But a change was needed. So that’s why, I decided to make a change in my thinking and started to think more like an entrepreneur. I started experimenting new ways to make money from home, with little to no manual labor. As a result, I started selling goods on eBay, which turned being a very successful hobby. I then started to move away from eBay and instead focus on writing, more specifically blogging. Throughout the school year and summer, I launched a few blog websites that ranged from underage traveling in Las Vegas, to food blogging and cheap eats for college students. This then paved the way for my entrance in to the eBook world, in which I then started publishing eBooks on the web and online bookstores on a weekly basis. I ultimately then took all these ideas and created a successful communications business for myself, which is where I manage all my blogs, eBooks, and other business ventures. Now this is just one of thousands of paths any student or person can take on the path to becoming an entrepreneur.

There are just so many opportunities out there to make money that it just blows my mind seeing all the people who are not taking advantage of such profitable situations. It’s just up to you to take the initiative to turn it into something great. Now, it may not always be easy and you may have many critics, but at the end of the day, you can go to bed with a smile on your face knowing that you just made money with the click of your mouse. As you join me on this journey into becoming a successful student entrepreneur, you will discover a plethora of new ways to make money from the comfort of your own room.

I Am Just Like You

Now in case you were wondering, I am probably just like you. I am just a normal college student looking to make some extra money. Heck, that’s why I’m writing this book. But you see, I truly understand how hard it is to pay for college as well as get a little extra cash in your pockets for the weekends. I’m probably one of the unlucky ones when it comes to landing a nice scholarship to help pay for school. I think I applied to at least 50 scholarships throughout my junior and senior years in high school but I didn’t even get one. And let me tell you, that was very discouraging. I mean, I had very good grades, many awesome extracurricular activities, but I guess I just wasn’t scholarship material. However, instead of putting my head down, I decided to use all this failure, and learn from it. As a result, I began looking at life with an entrepreneurial mindset. I try to look at every opportunity as a means of increasing monetization and ultimately making myself some extra money. And believe it or not, college is the perfect place to take advantage of some of these opportunities. But who said I have to be the only one making guaranteed income in college. That’s why I decided to help you out by giving fantastic ideas to help you make some money, all in the convenience of your own dorm room, or even bed.
