Samuel Terrence Lowenbetter, hurry or you’ll be late for your first day of kindergarten. Your bus will be here any minute,” Mom called”. He yelled back, “Mommy, I can’t find my lucky socks. I need my lucky socks.”

This was a very special morning for Terrence. This was his first day in a new school. Mom told him about all the new friends he would make in class and the teachers who would help him learn so many things. Like numbers and colors and words. He was so excited. But that morning things got kinda weird. ‘Cause that was the day when his socks ran away.
