Overview by the author
This is a story about a weekend trip that my husband, Mike, and I made to a small town a few hours away from our home city. It was something we used to do occasionally, just to get away from the city for a couple of days for a change of scene.
These weekend excursions were always fun and relaxing and we both really looked forward to them. With my husband's enthusiastic encouragement I usually took the opportunity to be my naughty self and enjoy some erotic adventure with one or more attractive guys, providing I could find any who were appropriate and willing.
Being away from home, somewhere it was very unlikely to run into someone we knew, was always very liberating. Many of them said straight out that they wished their wife were a little more like me in that regard.
Mike didn't mind if I wanted to invite a man back to the room, just myself, and have sex with him. The Getaway Weekend
This story is based on true events that occurred in 1996. All names except for Julie and Mike Jensen have been changed to protect the innocent and the guilty.
A good suggestion
Julie put the finishing touches on her monthly sales report, saved it to disk, and turned away from her computer, looking thoughtful. She gazed across the room at Mike who was sitting on the sofa, his nose deeply stuck in a thick book on computer networking.
"Mike. It seems like a long time since we've gotten away from the city. Maybe sometime soon, we can plan a weekend getaway - you know, a weekend away with just the two of us. We really need it, Mike. We've both been working hard and I think it would be therapeutic just to leave the city for a couple of days and relax."
Mike closed the book and laid it down beside him. "Mmmmm... now that is a good idea. I'm surprised I didn't think of it myself", Mike said with a smile and a trace of humor in his voice. "Seriously, I think we should do it as soon as we can. A change of scene for a few days would be refreshing. Where do you want to go?"
Julie and Mike were just starting to get used to the idea that they could go away more or less whenever they wanted to. Their youngest daughter was fourteen years old and did not need a babysitter any longer, particularly if they were only to be gone for a day or two. That was one of the advantages of having their children when they were still young. Their kids were practically grown up and Julie was still only thirty-eight, very much in her sexual prime. Living a sexually liberated lifestyle was much easier in practice now that the kids were older and involved with their own friends and activities.
Exactly where their getaway destination was didn't really matter much, as long as it was away from the city and not too long a drive. Nevertheless, it did need to be a large enough town that there would be at least some decent restaurants as well as some classy bars or clubs where they could go out dancing.
Whenever they were away in another town, Mike loved to get Julie dressed up sexy and show her off to the men there. He enjoyed other men wanting her, especially men whom she found attractive. Julie invariably enjoyed the attention and sometimes even found a guy that she wanted to take back to the room.
Those were the most exciting nights, when Julie found a nice sexy man to take back to the room to have sex with while Mike watched or helped out. However, it wasn't often that they found someone at a bar who was readily open to the concept of a threesome.
