A Message from the Author
A man in his 80’s once said I finally found
out what one of the most important treasures in life
is…People! he exclaimed.From now on I am
going to be a people person A few days later he
died.
Sadly all too often we go through life too busy
to stop and notice people or even to consider
our own lives and what meaning it has.
The Essence of Life Poems by Warren
E. Holyfield, seeks to pause life, if for but a
moment,and to make us think!
It is more than a book of rhymes, for within
its pages are priceless treasures that will touch the
very core of your heart. It wrenches the very fiber
of your being. It will be your enemy as well as your
friend. The more you read and think, you will leave
your conscious state of mind and be taken on a
journey of another kind. It will rekindle thoughts
and emotions dear to you, once lost but now
found. Welcome home!
