Eve moved to the office. She was nervous. It was her first interview. She had just applied and it promised her fifty grand a year if she got it. She couldn't believe her luck. She had been thinking she'd work up her ladder in a range of years, however she had applied for the job like it were a joke, and when she had been called she had almost screamed and fainted at the same time.

“Fifty-thousand!” she cried out after she had finished with the call. “Fifty.. big dollars...” she had said as she gloated at her reflection. “Everyone else is struggling on fifteen;” she had muttered before she had done a cartwheel that had almost broken her leg.

Eve moved to the building and then she looked up. It looked like a whole lot of floors. She smiled at it, but deep in her heart she felt a tremble. She didn't know what on earth she was doing.

“Never mind Eve, let's move;” she muttered.

Eve moved, and as she did her feet walked her through the doors and to the elevator. Eve checked her note for the floor level. It was the top one, thirty five. Eve gulped, and then she hopped inside the elevator. She gasped as she huddled into the corner of the elevator. She began to sweat, and she wished that she had brought a can of deodorant.

“Why would I forget it?” she muttered.
