Kala walked through the streets. It was such a hot day and she felt a world of burden. She felt as though the river god would come up in order to dampen her feet if she moved any further. She was so hot that she felt her skin become rubbed to the bone. Kala sighed as she stopped and ran a hand over her brow. She was wet and sticky. She felt the heaviness all over her body. It made her feel weak and trembling. It made her feel like falling down to the ground.

Kala glared at the sky and cursed it. All of a sudden she wished she hadn't as a cloud came over in order to shadow it. Kala gasped as she pushed her fingers to her mouth. She wished she hadn't done that. Cursed the sky. It made her feel horrible.

Kala walked home with gasps in her belly. At home as she closed the door she gave a faint cry.

“What was that for?” asked her sister Yala.

“I cursed the sky!” gasped Kala as she opened the curtains in order to peak outside. “Look at it, it is all weird and grey;”

“That's not weird, that means that rain is coming;” muttered Yala. “The worst thing is that the roof might leak;” she added.

Kala gasped, and tried to push her fears in the back of her mind. However she couldn't. She couldn't stop her fears from entering her brain. She was in the mode of perplex that came from feeling guilt.
