“We’re here!” Gino said, as his dad drove into the parking lot of Keeley’s Fantasy Rides. Hot air balloons floated in the air ready to take third grade school children on their field trip. Colorful signs on the building read, balloon rides, see the clouds, wind from fans; billboards forty feet high with theatrical effects make this a fantastic experience!
“Look at all of the beautiful balloons!” Lynn, Gino’s classmate jumped out of the car.
“You’ll be in one of them just as soon as I hand in your permission slips.” Gino’s dad got out of the car. “Don’t forget your science books and cameras. Remember the rules we talked about before we left the house.”

“Okay. I’m sort of afraid of heights.” Gino said with embarrassment as he focused his camera.
Gino’s dad answered. “There’s no reason to be scared because the balloon will rise slowly and you’ll be in good hands with an experienced tour guide and one of the teachers.”
“Can we go on the pink one with the yellow stripes?” Lynn pleaded.
“Let’s ride the one with all different colors.” Gino grabbed both books, his camera, and followed his dad to the ticket booth where they met one of the teachers. His legs shook, but he tried to hide his fear.
“Hi, I’m Mr. Smith, one of the third grade teachers.” He shook Gino’s dad’s hand.
“Nice to meet you.”
“What’s that swishing sound?” Gino asked.
