Foreword

I had started compiling the content for this book shortly after I finished my first book, Be Inspired…Facebook Style: The Musings Of A Minister. It is similar in style to that book. I hope that you find something that will help you in your daily living. Thank you for reading!

When you were born, you were given a name. When you got older and more experienced in certain aspects of life, you obtained a title. Titles can be stripped from you, but a name is permanent. Which one means more to you?

It is a wonderful thing when the Almighty opens up your understanding and is able to reveal things directly to you.

The possession of knowledge makes you no better than the ones to whom you wish to impart it. Even dictators and tyrants received an education.

When something doesn't belong to you, that's when you should be more careful about how you handle it.

When someone you love has a void in their life, stand in the gap and fill the hole as best as you possibly can.

No matter how much polishing you do to the exterior, if the inside is still dirty, then you're wasting your time.

Sometimes being the strong one can be a weakness.

If you find that too many people are in your business, is it possible that perhaps you put them in it?

The hard way may be the only way many people are able to learn a life lesson.

In your attempt to nip nonsense in the bud, don't be the source of any new nonsense.

Sometimes the solution comes after you remove yourself from the equation.

Decisions are part of life. Make them for yourself, or someone else will make them for you.

God may be watching from a distance, but he can see up close and personal.

Setbacks may put you in position for success.

Traditional thinking breeds current ignorance.

God can keep something from your reach, and it can be right in front of your face.

To be able to disagree without being disagreeable takes discipline and skill.

People who tend to err on the side of caution may make more mistakes than the average person.

Cries for help are not always the ones you can hear with your ears.

Having a long memory means you can bring up the past at any time, and that's not always a good thing.

Just the smallest amount of doubt can keep you from moving that mountain.

Encourage and support your loved ones in their endeavors. There will be a time when you want their support as well.

Don't be a waste of a good soul. Make a difference in this life so it will count well for you in the next one.

Don't be so desperate to be happy that you will take anything that comes your way.

Don't let a past full of despair blind you to a present full of deliverance.

Sometimes, the things that give us the greatest joy are unplanned.

How is it possible to speak a positive word, but then negative things occur? Having doubt the size of a grain of sand is enough. Just the smallest amount of doubt is like a drop of poison in a barrel of fresh water; it can still kill and destroy.

When you feel like the world is coming down around you, catch some of it in your hands and hold it up as best as you can.

We can all benefit from a self-assessment of our character and noting the flaws within ourselves that need to be fixed, instead of looking at other people's shortcomings and throwing emotional bricks at their glass houses.

There are times when no matter how much we win, we still end up losing.

One can only ignore the Creator but for so long before He taps you on the shoulder to get your attention.

You can still learn something from someone who doesn't know as much, or doesn't have as much experience, as you do. Never cut yourself off from any opportunity to gain knowledge that will benefit you and others.

Might does not always make right.

You can be set free from something, but not made free from it.

There are always at least two people in a relationship. It isn't up to just one person to make it work, but a joint effort.

Don't let anyone steal your thunder, especially if you were the one to bring the storm.
