Pre-Set Microsoft Word Format

Type your eBook only using Microsoft word. This is the only format that Smashwords accepts. Upon the completion of you eBook, there are other formats in which the eBook will be converted; automatically by Smashwords, conversion process. This is discussed in a further section in this eBook.

If you’re using either versions of Word; 97 - 2003 - 2007 - 2010.

Ensure to do the following

Open a new file;

Save as; Type the name of which you want to save your eBook as;

For example; to save “howtocreateanebook” as the name to save the eBook.
