Recipe 1- Kozhambu.
Ingredients:
Brinjal-4
(each cut into four pieces)
Onion-3
(chopped)
Tomato-1
(chopped)
Tuur
dal-2 cups (well boiled)
Turmeric
powder-1/2 tea spoon
Red chilly powder-2 tea spoons
Salt-1 teaspoon approximately (Add salt according to the quantity and taste)
Oil-3
table spoons
Mustard-few
Tamarind-
a bit (soaked in water for 30 minutes)
STEPS FOR PREPARATION:
(A) Place the pan on the ignited stove and pour 3 table spoons of oil after it becomes hot.
(B) Put mustard on the hot oil.
(C) Add onion and fry for few minutes till it turns light brown.
(D) Add tomato to the onion and fry more.
