4 Decades of Love
Richard Del Connor is the author of Autumn Flavours, that hypothesized that life is experienced by everyone in "seasons of fours." These four seasons then repeat again, starting with Autumn, Winter, Spring, and then a period of Summer. Each one of these seasons can last one year or several years, depending upon the age, attitude and environment of the individual. The first four seasons of a newborn may occur in just one year. This 4 Decades of Love book is at least three entire groups of seasons.
Richard D. Connor became "The Coyote" in 1984 while performing his rock opera, Coyote In A Graveyard, in Los Angeles. This began an Autumn, with a Winter in 1985 (engaged to Jennifer), a Spring in 1986 ending in a Summer of 1988 (with Shaolin Records run by several interns after divorcing Raquel King-Hayata).
This wonderful Summer of life ended in 1992 when Coyote moved to Utah. A Winter, Spring, and Summer ended with the birth of a son. An incredibly long Autumn was due to a black widow bite in 2001.
A brief Winter love affair with a student resulted in many love songs on the album LEVEL 3 = I Want You To Love Me by American Zen. The songs were written and all instruments were performed by The Hippy Coyote, and produced and engineered by himself as, Richard Del Connor. (On the previous album, LEVEL 2 = Christ Killer, Richard also listed himself as the recording engineer under the pseudonym, Don DeLaVega.) This Summer ended in 2008 with a move to Montrose, California.

Richard Del Connor is a "Buddhist Scientist," an American philosopher, photographer, photo-journalist, journalist, and founder of of Shaolin Records. Richard is a recording engineer, record producer, studio designer architect, mastering lab builder-superintendent, draftsman, journeyman Union Carpenter. Richard is also an author, novelist, poet, editor, publisher and founder of Shaolin Communications. Richard spent many years as a Mr. Mom after graduating UCLA Motion Picture Program 1988, and home-schooled his daughter for several years.
The Coyote became The Hippy Coyote in 2007 after being a test subject for his self-development website, ACTzen.com, that he created for his daughter. The Hippy Coyote is the founder and leader of America's first Buddhist rock band, American Zen, on independent record label, shaolinRECORDS.com.

Hey! I found it.
I am amazed. A little. The album songs I picked out, and the order that I positioned them in this book to tell my love story, was very close to the original layout. It was good to think about it again though -- start from scratch and remake this book/story/musical life journal in music.
I've blended the two versions together. Most of my poetry writings and lyrics are on notebook paper, 8 1/2" x 11"
I'm going to sell the original full-size notebook scans at my website as PDF DOWNLOADS.
The original version of this book, a notebook, 4 Decades of Love, is hand written. I didn't intend to publish it at all. I wrote the pages nice, so that people would be impressed when I took it to gigs for performing the lyric sheets inside. Plus, I enjoy my handwriting, when I take the time to make it nice.
So, here's the book. I'm still creating it in my mind as I write this now. I'm combining the two books I think. Give you the full story. It's not that I've had a lot of girl friends -- but I've had a few short-lived relationships... and I've forgotten a couple names. Sorry. Really.
