unsweetened cocoa
2 cups boiling water
2¾ cups sifted
all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon sea salt
2 teaspoons baking
soda

1 cup unsalted, sweet butter,
soft
2½ cups granulated sugar
4 eggs
1½ teaspoons vanilla
extract
Frosting

package (6 ounces) semisweet chocolate pieces
½ cup light cream
1
cup unsalted, sweet butter
2½ cups confectioners’ sugar
Filling
¼ cup
chocolate syrup
¼ cup confectioners’ sugar
2 cups heavy
cream, chilled
fresh or frozen raspberries, according to the
season
Red Raspberry
Sauce
½ cup sugar
½ cup water
2 cups red raspberries,
fresh or thawed
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Preheat oven to 350
degrees Fahrenheit.
