Times are changing! Better yet, times have changed. In the last decade we have seen a complete shift in the economy, and if you’re not well equipped you could be caught in the undertow. Everywhere you turn people are losing their homes, losing their jobs…and losing hope.
It doesn’t have to be that way!
This is the PERFECT opportunity to fulfill your dreams. I know that somewhere deep down inside of you is a burning desire; a passion that you have been longing to fill but due to your present circumstances you had to put it so far on the backburner that you almost forgot it was there. Yet, it never forgot about you.
So if you have seemingly lost everything that’s dear to you, remember that somewhere deep down inside is that burning desire. And even though you neglected it or put it aside there is still a chance for you to bring it to life. You’re not dead yet! You were given this desire for a reason. You are supposed to use it as part of your purpose here on earth. I encourage you to dig deep and rediscover your burning desire, and reignite that flame that once drove you to great heights. It may be just what you need to reach them once again.
How can I speak so freely about rekindling what once was? I, too, had a burning desire that I put on the backburner. I turned away from the one thing that always came so effortlessly only to find insecurity in what others deem to be job security. When I was left with no job, no income, and no way to support my family I didn’t know what to do. Then my once burning desire spoke to me. I reignited my flame for writing. Now, not only am I a novelist, I also own a publishing company. It’s amazing what can be done when we take what comes naturally to us and use it for our intended purpose.
Now, more than ever, people are rediscovering their passion in life and turning it into a way of life. Honestly, that’s the way it always should have been all along. Do not let the negativity of the media and even your life circumstances paralyze you any further. You can get ahead in life, even in the current state of the economy…if you have the right formula and the right mind set. No, this isn’t any one-size-fits-all type motivation. These are proven tips that have accelerated my life, the lives of those that I know both personally and professionally, and can accelerate your life. Apply those that fit; discard those that don’t. It’s that simple.

Meditation is Key
One of the most effective ways of aligning your inner world and outer world is by way of meditation. Most people envision sitting “Indian Style”, back erect, fingers pinched, and eyes closed while humming. While this is a standard meditation position it is not the only way to meditate. You can be in any position from standing, to lying on the floor, to sitting in a chair. It’s not the position that matters; it’s the intent of your mind and your spirit. When you focus your mind on your inner world you will begin to unlock ideas and solutions to your most pressing problems. Meditation is a way to connect to a deeper source within you, for the blueprint to your success already resides in you; this is one way to bring it out.
You Serve a Higher Purpose for a Higher Power
The world is full of various religions and beliefs, and within each one resides a plethora of denominations and divisions. Nevertheless, there is a higher reason for your purpose here on earth. Your success is in alignment with your purpose, and your purpose comes from a Higher Power. Regardless of how you name the entity, your life is guided by something much bigger than you. Even if you don’t believe in a Higher Power, there has to be something to it for you NOT to believe. While it’s nice to think that we control our lives, there is a Higher Power that is essentially behind the proverbial wheel guiding us through every thought we have, every decision we make, and every consequence we reap be it good or bad. Take comfort in knowing that there is a Higher Power is guiding your every step towards success; you just have to follow the right path.
Intuitively Speaking
Have you ever heard a little voice inside of you giving unsolicited advice? That voice stems from your intuition, and you really should start to listen to it. Sometimes it speaks in a whisper; other times it’s practically screaming in your ear. Whatever the case may be, when it speaks you should stop and listen. Your intuition is your inner guide and will clue you in on what’s right…and what’s wrong. A word of caution: learn to decipher from your intuition and your ego; your intuition is always right while the ego is usually wrong.
