Chapter One
“I call her Delilah Delicious,” Tommy Jones said, leading the way up an outside staircase. Voices and music drifted down—not loud but kind of like mist. Kind of tasteful, like fastidious Tommy himself.
Too fanciful even for me. Jarold Warner wondered how a supposedly struggling sculptress could afford a Spanish-style mansion in Sausalito, California. The view of San Francisco Bay and both bridges were worth a small fortune. Realizing Tommy was frowning at him from several steps above, Jarold asked, “Why do you call her Delilah Delicious? And don’t tell me it’s her real name.”
“Oh, the Delilah is real enough. As for delicious…”
Jarold felt his eyebrows quirk toward his hairline. “I thought your preferences ran in a different direction.”
“I’m gay, not blind.”
