Tania looked to the street. It was empty. She hated it. It was so quiet. Her parents had said they were going suburban; they didn't say they were going to the graveyard! Tania shrugged as she walked around in a circle. There weren't even any cars. She didn't know where they were, it was like no one drove. She looked to the world, and its green lawns, and she felt as though she had reached the desert.

“This place sucks;” she warred before she slumped on the grass that was so sweet its scent could be noticed. “I hate suburban living;” she muttered before she began to pick strands of lawn out from its bed.

Tania sulked for a long time. No person or vehicle passed. She had only her thoughts and the clouds as her company. It was deserted, and she wondered why. However it didn't take long for her to forget. In time she grew bored, and so she walked home in order to watch television.

Tania entered the house. She felt only a little breathless. The house was quiet. She shrugged. She moved to the kitchen in order to get herself some chips. She then moved to the lounge.

“So what's on television?” Tania muttered as she flicked the television on.

There were cooking shows, kids shows, drama shows, singing shows, sports shows; there were a whole range of shows, and she settled on a cartoon. Tania watched as she ate chips. She enjoyed the show. It was a good time. She liked the cartoon and the buzz she got from laughing. It made her feel good inside. She smiled as she gobbled down one chip after another. The salt began to make her thirsty, and it made her eat with more venom.
