Amazing Weight Loss Key #1 - Cookbooks and Magazines


Do you get excited every time you see a new Cookbook about weight loss? You are not alone. Thousands of new cookbooks are being put on the market today, and they are all filled with delicious recipes that you can use while you are on your weight loss programs. I love a good cookbook and one that gives us recipes to lose those extra pounds is just what I am looking for. So, this would be one of my weight loss keys. Is it yours?


I also love those magazines that give us recipes and tips for weight loss. Keep a supply of these magazines on hand and refer to them often. They are full of diet tips, beauty products, recipes and much more.


Amazing Weight Loss Key #2 - Journals


Can keeping a weight loss journal be one of your weight loss keys? It has been proven that the dieters that keep weight loss journal are more successful than the ones who don't. I love a good journal, and I like to keep several around to record things going on in my life, and especially one for my weight loss goals. Get started now with your weight loss journal. Start with writing down every thing you eat for a few days. Then count the calories and see how many calories you are consuming daily. This is a simple rule and the only rule you are going to have to be successful in your weight loss quest. You must consume less calories and expend more energy to lose those pounds. So in your journal you will also be keeping a written account of your daily exercise. and your daily intake of food. In my book, "Jazz up Your Walks with 10 Easy Exercise," you will find some of the exercises we seniors can do that are easy and fun. Start your exercise program right away and record all of them daily in your journal.


Next plan your weight loss program. This includes not only the foods you will be eating but also the exercise program and the weight loss keys that work for you. Make a list of all the keys that you think will work for you in your journal. This should be on a starting page in your new journal. After you have made a list of all the weight loss keys you think you can use, make out your grocery list for the week. Remember, you are not going to be starving yourself. You are going to be eating a good nutritious diet full of all of the food groups that will make your body slim and beautiful. There is no age limit for a beautiful body. We are ageless when it comes to beauty.


Amazing Weight Loss Key #3 - Diet and Low Calorie Foods


Do you think that eating diet and low calorie foods might be one of your weight loss keys? The inclusion of some diet and low calorie foods might be the key you need for your very own successful weight loss. I knew a woman years ago that was in my Weight Watchers class, and she would only eat one of the frozen Weight Watcher meals for dinner. She brought her grandson with her to every meeting, and they were both very successful with their weight loss plans. If you want to include these frozen meals in your weight loss plan, make sure to read the labels. Some of these, even the weight loss ones, can have too many fats and etc. in them. Learn to read labels and buy only the ones that are good deals in the nutrition department. Should you include diet sodas in your weight loss plans? I don't believe that diet sodas help us at all in our endeavor to loss weight and keep it off. I myself am very allergic to the sweeteners in these drinks, however, if you are used to drinking them, and you think they are helping you, then one or two of these drinks might not hurt. I would rather see you add some natural herbs teas or the black and green teas to your diet. Lemon juice, freshly squeezed can be made into lemonade and is good for you. Always weigh the pros and cons of what is good for your body. A beautiful body comes from natural good foods that we were intended to eat and not the substitutes we are now bombarded with daily and passed off as good food or drink. When you have a choice between something you know is good for you, and something that might harm your body, always choose the good product. Read the labels and if you can't pronounce it, you shouldn't be consuming it.
