Oh, and regarding the books/dvds, the fastest way to get an idea of what we're dealing with is to watch the documentary, "Burning The Future." One of the main characters, Maria Gunnoe, is apparently going to spend some time with us while we're out in WV. She is a friend of a friend of mine, Paul Corbit Brown, another individual with whom we will be spending a great deal of time. The other person I'm trying to track down is the one man who survived the Sago blast, having been revived from being in a coma for over a month.
Books to review might be, "Big Coal: The Dirty Secret Behind America's Energy Future," and "Coal: A Human History." Both are great for different reasons.
