Misguided Efforts

Angels filled the sky,

and the dark demon watched them fly,

with a mixture of revulsion

and fascination,

as the demon held a great deal of concentration,

but lacked respect,

his eyes were almost electric in intensity,

his heart was cold,

and he never showed pity,

as he stood tall and bold,

all because of the humans’ misguided efforts,

and their souls they’ve sold.

A Disease

The wind escaping through the trees,

taking with it, the shade,

and leaving behind the war that is like a disease,

the worst case is when the war invades,

killing the host,

and the living attracts ghosts,

war occur because a mental strain

of a disease that invades the brain,

then the young are sent to fight,

as their souls fill the night,

as life is rejected

when you’re infected

with a disease called war,

and you cannot escape.

So where and when

did this disease originate?

Efforts Of A Fool

Efforts of a fool,

as God wanted humans to inherit

a world that would rule

from strength and common sense,

and peace should last longer,

humans don’t understand that the world

would be freer and stronger

if they loved one another,

and treat each other

like loving sisters and brothers,

he could hear just the innocent pray,

as their lives get washed away,

but the sinners would never repent,

God’s emotions, spent,

and he was not content.

A Blueprint

Small frame

soft name,

tiny breasts,

dark skin.

Long hair,

flows back,

touching the flesh,

gently on her

lower back.

Dark eyes,

prefect smile,

woven into a

pretty face.

A blueprint of beauty,

right before our eyes,

catch it quickly,

before it dies.

Breathless Rush

As the angel entered the garden,

a sweet aroma of flowers filled the air,

a Blue-Jay flew without a care,

then there was a sound of small quick feet,

a tiny figure with light brown hair,

looking for a treat,

the angel smiled

at that breathless rush of an excited child,

happiness was something familiar,

an not to be taken for granted,

it beats the noise and rattle

during the heat of a religious battle.

A Sense Of Intoxication

Her mind was trapped,

that was when she snapped,

she felt a scratching in her throat,

her lungs would float,

a distant heaviness in her head,

her sanity trapped in a cage,

all the hurt, all the rage,

and all the wrath,

had caught up with her,

there was a sense of intoxication,

but she was sober,

as water bubbled over,

and that’s when she looked down,

in the bath tub,

where her baby would drown.

After The Act

The suicide bomber took all her friends down,

shredded bodies littered the ground,

blood rushing,

her face flushing,

and shattered dreams gushing,

as the bomber’s ghost stared

at her blandly for a moment,

she glared, nose flared,

making no attempt to hold back

the wave of fury after the act.

Cold Crawling Terror

The dark angel shook his head,

no words spoken,

but there was so much said,

faith broken,

and it filled him with cold crawling terror,

which made him question the horror,

he had never seen anything like it,

in a matter of seconds,

hell had mutated souls into something

impervious to cure,

he was so sure,

evil would ignore this and watch it endure,

and humans would easily be lured.

Not Insignificant

The smell in hell

was not insignificant,

the place filled with distaste,

and was a picture of disgrace,

it was designed for all manner

of underhanded,

disenfranchised, criminalized,

immortalized, cauterized,

with honestly never demanded,

you must be slightly shady,

worse than your evil cohorts,

and outright unscrupulous sorts,

to stay in this place so cold,

were souls were sold,

exchanged, bartered, stolen,

rendering this a pointless place,

unless you come face to face...

Graceful Motion

Happiness in a world filled with sin,

but he was able to grin,

a strong man in God’s life,

as he reveled in the sight of his wife,

who seems to look more appealing everyday,

she would smile back with nothing to say,

always wearing something soft and green,

and she looked like a dream,

her clothes hugged her in all the right places,

she would put a small on all the faces,

like a love potion,

with a fluid of graceful motion,

a partner for life,

with her most benevolent smile,

was his dear and darling wife.

God Seeds

After the battle,

and peace shattered and blown,

the angel lay draped over a large stone,

unable to get the image of the dying

out of his head,

mind filled with voices crying,

even women and children dead,

here he was safe and sound,

but it’s sad when he looks down,

hatred littered the ground,

God’s people were losing their lives

all in religious battles,

no one survives,

and it has become more difficult

keeping hope alive,

God has given humans great minds,

for medical, defensive, offensive

whatever they need,

yet they were helpless to aid,

because of religious greed,

God seeds

no more,

as the devil bleeds,

as he stands laughing at the door,

and sin flows,

and another bomb in God’s name blows.

Those Eyes

His eyes locked with God’s for a moment,

and he heard haunting cries,

as wisdom dries,

and hope for humanity flies,

for the first time

he saw the dept of wisdom in those eyes,

they were heavenly

ancient eyes,

so the humble man would just sit,

and bask in the pure light

of knowledge and delight

in the learning of it.

God’s eyes that wanted to see

everything it could,

it told of the free,

and the way he wanted things to be,

he also could tell that those eyes

had known so much pain,

and centuries of mourning,

any man would have gone insane,

but God just sighed,

but he never gets tired of trying,

he would someday find laughter,

through all the world’s crying.

Masking Her Fate

Overboard,

she fell to the sea,

the rails gave way,

and it wasn’t where she wanted to be,

to get back on the ship,

she didn’t know how,

the sea supported her now,

rocking her gently with the waves,

drowning was coming

as she prayed for a save,

the waters lulling her into a trance like state,

masking her fate,

the crimson sunshine offered warmth,

a kind gesture but much too late,

she could sense its radiance,

even through her closed eyes,

then there was a thirst,

an awful thirst,

she heard a voice, softly at first,

maybe the family she loved,

she saw an angel, or a dove,

then the voice again,

but it didn’t come from above,

it came from somewhere deep,

then she realized her spirit was asleep,

her mind would weep,

then ghosts came in many voices,

and death offered her no choices,

her eyes flashing red,

salt burning, her life turning,

as the voices in her head

were calling out in unison,

then the voices became whispers,

and the whispers turned into cries,

fear became despair,

as she finally dies.

Trapped In A Sin

She prayed faster and faster,

prayers tripping one over the other,

her breath she tried to draw,

her throat burning and raw

from all her praying,

in her eyes she felt a twitch,

her voice was rising higher in pitch,

until it began to sound like a scream,

remnants of a bad dream,

she was so sure

that God would hear,

as her blood spilled to the floor,

the room began to spin,

she was trapped in a sin,

she put her hand to her mouth,

drew her palm away,

and it was tinged with blood,

her Guardian Angel couldn’t stay,

even if she continued to pray.

All Images Imprinted

The plane going down,

rushing violently toward the ground,

thoughts careened through the pilot’s mind,

crashing was coming quickly

and death is what she’d find,

her husband, her child,

all images imprinted in her brain,

kept her from going insane,

as she tried to sort things out,

she heard all the passengers shout,

but she just tried to calm herself, down,

an explosion over the sea,

and no bodies were found.

Eyes Grew Hard

It was as if he was dealt the death card,

the man’s eyes grew hard,

he stood up abruptly,

knocking over his chair,

mind filled with fear,

his life unraveled

as the judge slammed down the gave,

wanting order in his court,

he saw the jurors out of the corner

of his eye,

they made a big slip,

and he wanted to say more,

but he just bit his lip,

and the guilty verdict remained on the floor,

the judge rasped,

then gasped,

maintaining control as best as he could,

the jurors were out so long,

that wasn’t good,

because the verdict rendered was just wrong.

Cold Breath

The infant whispered,

his cry for help,

cold breath,

silent death,

musty smell,

the parents couldn’t tell,

he weeps,

they sleep

chilly night,

cold heart,

bright light,

sadly it waits,

to be discovered,

black birds covered the sky,

no silent cry,

and there was no apparent reason,

they covered the moon,

as death lingered,

a cold breath,

and death loomed.

Deck Red

The hollow ache of having lost his crew

ate at the captain,

inside it brewed, and it stewed,

impatient,

he cocked his gun,

stared directly into the sun,

closed his eyes,

as the warmth caressed his face,

he rubbed his sweaty palm

on his chest,

finally, his mind was calm,

he placed the gun to his head,

hesitated momentarily,

as if walking on thin ice,

he wasn’t a hard-nose captain,

in fact, he was considered very nice,

shot rang out,

the flapping wings of sea birds were heard

but there was no shout,

deck red,

captain dead.

God Takes A Child

He stood in silence,

as they buried his boy,

his wonderful..lost,

his life’s joy,

whispering softly,

in his mind,

voices,

fury,

he cannot understand,

why God takes a child,

but leaves a man.

Haunt Their Dreams

Selfish,

he wanted someone else

dreaming of his painful death,

cruel,

extremely bitter,

mental ridicule,

mental abuse,

huge tears,

dark fears,

fits and outbursts,

questions hitting the fan,

why, why, why,

did he want to die, die, die?

He was hanging

from a beam

so the sight would

haunt their dreams.

A Ghost

He had never seen a ghost before,

but it was a ghost,

he was sure,

he yelped in astonishment,

then his mind was filled with excitement,

he found it odd that he wasn’t afraid,

his calm stayed,

the ghost moved,

he coughed,

cleared his throat,

the ghost just shrugged it off,

as he circled the room,

wonders filled his eyes,

and there wasn’t a hint of gloom,

or any sense of doom.

Tempers Hot

Feelings tested,

emotions shot,

moral and religious rot

infected many,

tempers hot,

as this kind of deity would slaughter innocents,

because of what they might become,

what has God done,

can we hear the call,

maybe there would be a glimmer

of hope for us after all.

No Remorse Found

The dark demon actually did some good,

the devil knew that he could,

but didn’t realize that he would,

so the cries in the torture room were loud,

other demons gathering

and forming a crowd,

as the dark angel sat down,

the devil’s torture chair creaking slightly

under his weight,

no remorse found,

as their friendship became hate,

the devil was clearly determined

to try and mask his apprehension,

the dark angel ignored him and lacked comprehension,

for it was his fate,

that brought on this hate,

and he had unmistakable nervousness in his eyes,

his evil soul lives,

but his good ghost dies.

Frozen Horror

Hostile,

and angering nations,

the dark winged angel was bent

on destroying entire civilizations,

genocide is what he wanted and darkness is what he sent,

the Earth hung limply in space,

crying, as the dark winged angel was set on

eliminating the Human Race.

The sun still active and glowing,

but wish it could hide,

behind the clouds and winds that were blowing,

away from the battle between Heaven and Hell,

as darkness fell,

it lost its pride,

but it would have taken the mortals’ side.

It shined harmlessly, and hopelessly,

as the other planets simply watched in frozen horror,

as the earth was showered in total terror,

as the dark winged angel rained, pain,

and attacked with darkness that drove humans insane,

the violence strangled the planet with conviction,

as the dark winged angel tried to serve the humans,

with a permanent eviction.

Blood Poured Down Like Rain

The young witch rose,

yawned,

stretched,

and scratched her head

with both hands,

then she sat at the foot of the bed,

the great gloomy house

overlooking the rapid streams,

nestled in her dreams,

she looked to the door,

and she saw her mother on the floor,

and she could see a man forming beneath her eyes,

he sloped down gradually,

even though she didn’t, he sensed her cries,

she moved away from the man,

he grabbed her and held her down,

in a position of total command,

the death came quickly, and swiftly,

he was hunting, and out to destroy the dark,

she was hunted, like a brave and beautiful lark,

now slain,

his emotions drained,

and the blood poured down like rain.

Astral Body

She felt the damp

twisted sheets

around her neck,

tangled, tightening,

a bit mangled,

but capable of the strangle,

and she tried to be still,

for a brief moment,

she listen to past melodies in her mind,

simply divine,

her anger slowly shifted,

then she felt a burden had been lifted,

she’d forgotten momentarily,

that was she gravely ill,

left to die slowly, but certain,

pulled down shades, and drawn curtains,

and for all intents and purposes,

she was alive only for her family’s sake,

they needed comfort in her living,

thinking about that kept her awake,

she needed comfort in her death,

that’s something they couldn’t take,

they thought keeping her alive was love,

as the sheets dangled slowly from above,

death finally whispering in her ear,

the sheets got tighter,

she felt lighter,

then she witnessed her astral body in mid-air,

it helped wash away the worries,

and it eliminated the fear.

A Rapid Impact

A breathless voice hissed from just behind the child’s

left ear,

he glanced back

to see no one there,

his mind was filled with the thought of death,

his chest heaving as he tried to catch his breath,

and as if he had been running,

his face in the mirror darkened suddenly,

his emotions would hide,

his eyes wide,

his mind flips,

then a silent vow seemed to emanate

from his tightening lips,

he feels his heart rate,

racing,

his emotions now pacing,

his sanity dissolving before his very eyes,

he then feels some inner cries,

the child stared,

unblinking at his reflection,

he feared,

then a ghost appeared,

with a flicker of poorly concealed distress

in her eyes,

Run!”

Then in a second, before it was done,

it had to be fate,

because it was simply too late,

reality displayed a fact,

and the home invasion had a rapid impact.

Life Dies

The casualties were real,

the general speaking so sharply,

the soldier could practically feel

his voice dissecting him,

death left dust,

as the general shook his head in disgust,
