The Apprentice
There is a television show which has been popular in the United States called The Apprentice. In this reality TV series, a number of hyper-aggressive type-A personalities compete for a single job position—to run one of Donald Trump’s organizations. The candidates are divided into two teams and each week they are given a different project to execute. Each project is evaluated by one or more evaluators and a winning team is chosen. The winners get to do something fun, the losers end up groveling and pleading for their reality-TV lives to avoid hearing those dreaded two words, “YOU’RE FIRED!” This goes on week by week until only one is left standing; that hyper-aggressive type-A personality then gets the reward of working his or her tail off in the Trump organization.
