George W Bush
George Walker Bush was born on July 06 1946. He was the 43rd President of the United States. He served his title of President from 2001 to 2009, and he was also the 46th Governor of Texas from 1995 to 2000.
Bush was the eldest son of a past President whose name was George H.W. Bush and served as the 41st President. His mother was Barbara Bush. He was one of two serving Presidents who had a father who was also a President in the past.
George Bush graduated from Yale University in 1968, and he then moved on in order to graduate from Harvard Business School in 1975. Bush worked as a leader in an oil business after he finished school, and then he married a female named Laura Welch in 1977. After he married he ran for the House of Representatives who did not accept him, and he then co-owned the Texas Rangers baseball team as he worked on his political goals. In 1994 he was given a great lift as he bumped off Ann Richards in order to become the winner of a very close Texas election.
The election was said to be controversial at the time - however George Bush didn't care; he had finally made it into the political arena and his goals were high. He was elected President in the year 2000 as the Republican candidate, defeating opponent Al Gore. He was named 'Time Person of the Year' in the year 2000 and 2004 - making his figure ever more impressionable to the people who followed politics and high profile persons.
