About the Author
My name is Billy Morrison, I have been in the casino industry for 20 years dealing craps. I have worked at casinos on the Mississippi River and in Las Vegas. I am currently employed at a casino on the Las Vegas strip as a craps dealer.
The reason I am writing this book is to try to help people make $-money-$ at the craps tables. I am amazed at how many people come to Las Vegas to play craps and don't have any understanding of how the game works. I probably take tens of thousands of dollars a day from people that don't know anything about casino tables games. That's just me on one side of the dice table, the other dealer on the other side of the craps table probably takes in about the same amount of money every day.... So I think what about all the other dice tables on the Las Vegas strip. How much money is just threw away from the people that come to Las Vegas can be mind-boggling, you do the math. There are about 162 crap tables just on the Las Vegas strip, that's not including downtown casinos and the residential casinos. Google it if want to see for yourself.
All my years of dealing I have noticed that 99% of the people that play on the craps table are just working class people who want to make a couple of bucks but they don't how to play the game of craps. I have dealt to just about all nationalities, all races, all ages and I still see the same thing over and over again. People just don't know how to play craps. I honestly feel sorry for those people who just throw their money away, I wished I could get back their money but casinos are not in the business to give money away and no one is putting a gun to their head and making them play craps, so I decided to try to give back a little bit of betting advice for those people that don't understand the how to win at craps.
I am amazed at how many people do actually win on a craps table will actually sit there and give all their winnings back to the casino and then get more money out of their pockets. I think the hardest part for all the people that come to Las Vegas don't know how to" WALK AWAY AS A WINNER". I work with dealers that have told me that they have went out to play craps and would be up five, six, seven hundred of dollars. But the story always ends the same, they did not walk away as a winner. They lost their winnings and the money they originally bought in with. I think a lot of the people get caught up in all of the excitement and lose focus on winning. I see people change their betting strategies to impress a total stranger, stupid mistake. What few people that actually do win on a craps table do not sit there and get drunk, they may have a few cocktails but still they remain focused. You just don't know how many times I've seen people get so drunk and play dice and lose everything. Casinos are supposed to be entertainment just as if you were going to a musical concert but a lot of people forget that. They let greed sit in, they think they will walk away a winner when they win a couple of hundred dollars but they never do.
