Where do my answers hide?
Are they very deep inside?
Do I need to search so far?
I must find out where they are.
I search with sight I read the signs,
They are hard to define,
I search with hands to feel and touch,
I still don't know too much,
I search with steps I tread each day
They take me the wrong way,
I search with mind from time to time
But answers never come,
Then one day it came to me,
I searched my soul instead,
All the answers I'd ever asked,
Were very soon unmasked.
The Arms of Mother
Cradle in the arms of Mother.
Little one,
I live for you, and only you.
For you,
I will cherish every breath
that passes our lips,
every beat of our hearts
that pounds the chest.
For you,
I will polish the stars
to lighten your darkest night,
ask the Moon to greet you.
I will tell the birds to sing softly
to fill your soul with melody,
