relatively few on the arts. This is a chance to bring your experience
to the listener; to explain how and why the arts are so important to
our world.
In the life of MTV, short news bites and the remote control which we all use way too much, a podcast on the arts makes us slow down, and relearn what the arts are, how they interact with us on a daily basis, and how we can participate more in the arts.
What kinds of guests
and experts do you want to interview?
There are
two kinds of people in life. The suits, and the creatives. I am very
interested in the creatives, from actors, singers, artists, the whole
gamut of choosing the creative life needs to be explored.
The challenge, if you are up to it, is that we are verbalizing a largely visual medium, so I am looking for guests that are very good at articulating the visuals into the verbal form. The more articulate and erudite you are, the better for you as an expert, and better for the podcast, which gains a knowledgable guest that is thought provoking.
I have a life long background in the arts, particularly in the pop art movement of the 60's and 70's, so it would be terrific to find guests that are familiar with the pop art movement, and it's effect on the art of today, and can compare the artistic movements of today with the past.
