New Scientific Finding and Possible same Medical Breakthrough for many of the Patients with Head Tremors that go away when patient is in supine position or also called to lay down. These disorders with the same Head Tremor or Torticollis symptom’s must be checked for these possible structural injuries being missed by Doctors! These are visible on the films even by the untrained eye. I will show you!
This book and information is not meant to replace your Doctors care, it is description and pictures with MRI copies and drawings and true medical facts that can be used to check for structural damages that are being overlooked in many patients with head tremors that go away when they lay down. I have given parts of this information out to many professionals to help educate over the years since 1995 when these injuries occurred. My experience is my own written with a variety of words in areas to try to help both medical professionals and the people not familiar with the medical language better understand the languages of medicine and help patients, their families and doctor’s check for possible structural damage that was and is being missed on MRI films and x-rays. This information is for educational purposes. The Author, Publisher and Distributor of this book take no legal liability or damages for any incrimination for undiagnosed or missed injuries in other patients. The story is true and facts presented are exact. This is not meant for self diagnosis but you will have to seek medical help if you suspect you have the same or similar structural damage being missed by your Doctor or that has been overlooked by your doctors.
INTRODUCTION
This information will possibly help many find the cause of their head tremors that go away when they lay down. Structural damage is being overlooked by many doctors and you as the patient or patient’s family may have to push to get the doctors to go back and check for this structural damage. We have even better technology now to find the visual evidence of the structures damaged. The doctors will not come to ask you about rechecking for this structural damage at this point and time in medical history. Therefore you or your family members will maybe have to make the effort to get re-checked or get your MRI’s re checked for overlooked damages shown in the picture and film copies here in the pictures chapters. You may also want to check for addresses at the end of the book to see places to contact to get research facilities set up for research to re check MRI films if patients have them already available for the ruptured posterior ligament behind/posterior to C-1which is on the mid saggital slice /section in the cervical /neck MRI. The break in the ligament allows the vertebra to translate shift forward and back of the first two or three vertebrae then put abnormal pressure on the brain stem and often leads to herniated cerebellar tonsils and brain stem compression affecting the peduncles under the cerebellar area of the brain.
Also the left or right Levator scapulae avulsion from the left or right C-1 vertebra transverse process which can be seen on the transverse section MRI at C-1, this alone results in pressure at the brain stem on the side injured with the levator scapulae avulsion. It also shows as Torticollis congenital, acquired torticollis, spasmodic torticollis, Cogwheel Motion of head when turning, or Wry neck. Also Brain MRI will show the patient as having a smaller ventricle opening on top of brain due to the shift of the injured vertebra when the Levator scapulae muscle is avulsed from C-1 on left or right side. Doctor’s were never trained to look for these types of injuries, but this has to change-looking for these types of structural damage must become routine care for diagnostics in all medical specialties. If we do not go back and question diagnostic steps for head tremors especially tremors that go away when the patient lays down we likely are missing possible structural damage in millions of people with head tremors that go away when the patient lay’s down /supine. I say this because the symptoms are identical in many of these disorders. I am not saying this is the cause of all patients head tremors that go away when they lay down /supine. But until you have verified that these one or two structures are not torn /avulsed /ruptured then you will not know if this is the cause of your head tremor or torticollis symptoms or currently named disorder with structural damage undiagnosed. I say this because these injuries were missed by over 20 doctors of varying specialties and no doctor I ever met checked for this type of structural damage. It was missed by Radiology doctors to begin with and they still have to see these films to show them the facts.

Remember when you start reading this information the terms may be new to you. But the pictures will help you understand about the structural damage and head tremors. These two specific structural damages I explain, keep in mind that patients may have one structure injured or it could be both in patients with head tremors and torticollis. The symptoms are shown and described with detail and the MRI film /pictures of this seemingly new found cervical /neck damage that will be shown to you. This just may be the same overlooked injuries for millions with the same symptoms.
All the doctors overlooked this damage and possibly millions of other patients have this structural damage overlooked too, causing head tremors and torticollis. I raise this question because if these two structural injuries caused identical symptoms as listed in these listed head tremor and torticollis disorders then how can some of the millions of other patient’s world wide with identical symptoms not have the same structural damage overlooked by their doctors? You have to see inside the body to rule out if one or both of these structures are torn /avulsed /ruptured, or even grossly overstretched on the posterior ligaments because brain stem compression and herniated cerebellar tonsils may also show on the MRI as a result of damage from having one or both of these structures injured.
The Beginning of Injuries
It has taken me years to get to actually finish writing this book. I was injured while working in a nursing care facility. I was trying with my best efforts to care for people’s family members who were not there to take care of them and yet I had ruined my body and life in so many ways trying to care for these 42 Residents, some of them very large people. I was left alone, with no help. I could not walk out on the Residents, the 42 helpless people I was left alone to care for, so I tried to do the job I was left to do. My job required that I had to be physically moving them, pulling them over by the bed pad, turning them, as in repositioning, and yes, I used proper body mechanics. I had done this type of work for many years. I had four babies/children in the years previously to that day I was injured. I had carried my children around while they were infants and toddlers, and lifted them many times. I was strong and physically fit. Then what all had been injured in those three instances beginning on 10-01-95 and the 9 days after? None of the first 20 doctors could or either they would not tell me much, and they put very little in the medical reports. But, as the months went on I studied the anatomy in books over and over and the MRI films and the cervical /neck x-rays.
I vowed to God, that I would try to help other people with medical facts or knowledge and understanding these injuries if I could get help and find out what specific structures had been injured.
Lately, it stays on my mind, my promise to God, to help educate so that other people with these injuries could find some help if only in the exact diagnoses and possibly surgical intervention in cases that are candidates for surgery, with these specific structures damaged. Or even so that if you are the patient you would at least know if the right or left Levator scapulae muscle is torn/avulsed from the C-1 vertebra (See picture One) so you can take extra safety precautions until a surgical procedure is available, as none exists at this point that I am aware of for that specific injury-damage. Also if the posterior ligaments behind the first two or three cervical vertebrae are ruptured /torn you can get surgical help with a surgical procedure I will explain here in this book. (See picture Two). This surgery stopped my head tremors! How mean some of the Doctors were to me and uncaring. This treatment by doctors you may or may not have experienced this in your search for help with head tremors and neck injuries. I described many specifics because doctors need to know how in many cases they are treating patients poorly when they could or should be sued for malpractice, or push the patient into suicide who is so desperately struggling to live. I just question how their negligence and such degrading uncaring attitudes can be left un-accounted for in doctors who would not want this poor treatment for themselves or their family members, would they?
This book is dedicated in part for all patients with head tremors and especially those tremors that go away when they lay down. Since the injuries which caused head tremors and other structural damages in addition for me to struggle with. I have struggled in many ways and I know many other patients do also, and it is physically, emotionally, and financially. Also I mentally debate on the best way to write and present this information so that it can be understood by patients, their families and the Doctors of all medical specialties. I use to pray that if God would let me figure out what had been injured so I could get repaired, that I would then find a way to help educate patients and other people so they would not have to suffer as long as I had. Now, this is my attempt at helping people see this overlooked structural damage being missed by Doctors on the MRI films. It was also so that progress could be made in medicine, because I want to help educate about these structural injuries; they are being overlooked by radiology doctors and many other doctors of varying specialties! The Doctors I saw tried to tell me I was insane, crazy, mentally ill, depressed? See for yourself even with the untrained eye this damage to these structures is visible! This emotional insult was all on top of the physical and financial struggle because these are severe injuries and I was left for so long with no help. I want to help others who may have one or both of these injuries. This is so they will not have to suffer as long as I did or forever because of undiagnosed injuries that doctors do not look for routinely or even at all. One of these structural injuries can be surgically repaired.
I did get repaired partially, my head tremors are gone. Now I present you with the facts to look for on the MRI films, at least to have your doctor check for. It has been difficult for me to finish writing this book. This is because of the fact that psychologically I can hardly stand to relive these events in my mind. The emotional and physical pain of how I struggled to live and how I had a reoccurring nightmare of waking myself up crying and saying why will no one help me? I also describe many of the emotional and financial facts that seem to go unnoticed in most all patients’ lives. You may well know the pain and devastation from the same injuries. It is also to explain overlooked details as in my case and possibly many patients with head tremors. I included personal details so that Doctors and clinicians who read this from any medical specialty and even patients families can think about just how this type of health problem affects the patients’ life. No one wants to put their life on hold, lose a job, their financial security or their ability to function normally. These injuries can happen to any of you.
The fact’s that the day that I was injured at that nursing care facility, and the fact that, none of the 42 Residents/ those people I was taking care of, nor any one member of their families even new that I was taking care of their loved ones and much less none were even aware of what happened to my life. The damage to my body, my future, my children’s future, or any future of being able to really physically assist my own Mother as she ages, is destroyed since these injuries which began 10-01-95. All because I was trying to care for their family members, 42 of them at one time with no other nursing assistant to help, an OSHA violation I found out at a later date, (but this fact was always swept under the rug, kept out of legal papers or legal hearings—disregarded—hidden from the true facts presented).
To state again, I had gotten this way taking care of Elderly Residents helping them because most of them could not move themselves. I am writing in the third person, as if I am writing about a patient. I am the patient, so I know all of the exact facts. I was there, in the body, and felt all of the pain, trauma, and loss, physically, emotionally, and financially. But by being the patient and feeling the pain and specifics of the injuries it gave me an insight to look for these specific structures on the MRI. If I had not felt these I would not have known what areas to look for the structural injuries and how the symptoms show or present to a doctors opinion who is looking from the outside. Since the doctors would not listen to what I was describing to them then I had to do the research. Know that all doctors can have opinions even if they are wrong, they get paid and you do not get help so many times. I hope and pray some of that can improve for patients with head tremors that go away when they lay down and the listed torticollis disorders. Challenging the Diagnostic terms of medicine and how they put clues together can be as difficult as the story of David and Goliath from the Bible. But the truth is in the pictures of the MRI sections you will see. From a legal standpoint for Attorneys or Forensic Pathologists, please note the fact that if these injuries had pre existed there is no way I could have worked so long and well in the jobs I had in the Medical fields that required very strong physical abilities as with heavy lifting. Ask a Forensic Pathologist if this type of injury could have pre-existed in a person who did heavy lifting regularly?
