Introduction

This short booklet will show you that losing weight and getting fit definitely go together. By investing just twelve to fifteen minutes each day and eating sensibly, you can lose all the weight you want and get incredibly fit at the same time.

Losing those unwanted pounds/ kilos doesn’t require a superhuman effort: what it needs is simply persistence. You don’t have to sweat. You don’t have to exercise till you are gasping for breath. Your muscles don’t have to ache. Simple, gentle exercise, done each day for fifteen minutes tops will do it for you.

To lose weight through a simple no sweat fitness program, you don’t need to make any great investment. You won’t be needing expensive gym memberships or exercise equipment – no exercise machines, no fancy exercise gear. You won’t have to attend classes that cost you an arm and a leg.

It doesn’t take huge amounts of time, just fifteen minutes each day. Fifteen minutes, that’s the total investment. Everyone can afford fifteen minutes out of their day, no matter how busy they might be. Fifteen minutes is what it takes to make yourself a cup of coffee. Anyone can find fifteen minutes somewhere in every day.

There is no set time for your fifteen minutes of exercise. You can do it as soon as you wake, after breakfast, at lunch time, when you get home from work, after you drop the kids to school, after everyone’s in bed for the night. It matters not. What matters is that you try to be consistent with the time you choose to change your life for the better. Choosing the same time each day makes it easier to turn this into a habit – a habit that will transform your life.

Losing weight does not need to be embarrassing in any way. If you are embarrassed by your weight or even a little ashamed, fear not. Nobody has to see you trying to match the gym junkies. You don’t have to hide up the back row of any exercise class. You don’t need to face the shame of seeming uncoordinated while trying to learn new steps demonstrated by some super-fit instructor. You can lose weight and get incredibly fit in complete privacy. You can get fit and slim down doing things that don’t look at all like exercise. You can easily get fit doing stuff you enjoy and look forward to.

You don’t need to hurt your body to lose weight and get fitter than you ever thought possible. You don’t have to strain to keep up with fit instructors. You will get fit without being pushed to the limit. Your body will not break under the strain. You will not be one of those people who are so determined to lose weight that they go to some fitness class, try to keep up with all the people who’ve been going along to the class for months or years, and then end up the next day in pain. We won’t be seeing you, the day after, in some doctor’s waiting room or emergency ward. You won’t be the one who is in so much pain and suffering so much embarrassment, that you don’t want to get out of bed the next day. You won’t have to suffer the ridicule of your neighbours and ‘friends’.
