BOOK #15
REALISATION
He finds the girl,
Sitting alone,
Looking in the phone book a number,
To punch into the phone.
He watches her hands,
As she turns that pages;
Her hands on him,
He briefly envisages.
He creeps up to her,
Feeling like the hottest flame in a Bunsen burner;
“Hey,” he whispers in her ear –
She jumps and turns;
“Do you need the phone?” She asks politely,
“No, what I need is you and me.”
She eyes him dangerously,
“Well you can have that in your fantasy.”
She says standing to leave.
He moves to grab her,
She slips through.
“Don’t touch me!” She said vehemently,
“I love who I am with full heartedly.”
He stands shocked,
Slapped with the truth,
That her feelings for the new guy,
Wasn’t a spoof.
“I still love you.” He says heavily,
Almost choking on his breath,
Eyeing her with a desperate gaze;
Her anger fades.
“I’ll always care for you.” She says passing by the door,
“But as friends only – there’s no you and me any-more.”
She turns and walks out the door,
While he stares blankly at the empty corridor.

PROTECTED IN PARADISE
The girl sits in the forest clearing,
Amidst a variety of blooming flowers,
Daydreaming about the guy,
Who was currently vacant from sight,
While fetching her a special drink,
From the rose scented springs.
She’s so busy,
Hearing her heart sing,
She doesn't notice another,
Slyly approaching.
Silently he steps,
Closer he creeps,
But just as he is within reach,
Electricity bolts down from the sky;
He gets shocked,
And runs,
As more fly by;
The girl doesn’t hear,
She knows she has nothing to fear,
She’s well protected in the paradise lair.

BLESSING IN DISGUISE
Honestly,
The catastrophe,
Could possibly be,
The best thing to ever happen to me;
For if it hadn’t happened,
I wouldn’t have awakened,
And saw the man with real love –
(Rather then just flaming lust) –
Who awakens inside of me,
The purest most potent love dust.
My soul mate,
Who helps me stretch my wings,
To soar above the rust,
And other such things.

HEALING PILL
It’s a lie to say I never loved,
I did love you,
Deliriously above.
Before the crash I flew about,
Engulfed in our delusion of love;
In my dreamy heart there wasn’t a doubt.
It turns out however,
It wasn’t meant to be –
But we can stay friends for eternity.
It’s true I love you still,
I have no doubt,
It will never distil.
But I’m happier now,
The pain doesn’t kill.
I’ve managed to fund the healing pill.

COMFORTING ONE
From here all that I am,
And all that I will become,
Will be a result,
Of your healing sun.
You are the comforting one,
The plush pillow,
At the top of my bed,
O which I softly rest my head.

TAKING FLIGHT
She opens,
Her purple wings,
Heat pumping,
Soul strongly singing.
She lifts herself,
In a wash of shimmering dust –
Straining in the take off,
Gliding in flight;
The zephyr gently whooshes by,
As she soars,
Smooth and high,
In the vibrantly beautiful sky.

TROPICAL BLISS
I’m going to be in tropical bliss,
Once enfolded in your arms;
Warmed with your kiss,
My past I’m never going to miss,
When permanently holidaying with you,
In tropical bliss.

LIQUID FIRE
You’re a naughty boy,
Smiling genteelly,
As you smoothly pour inside my cup,
Liquid fire;
Makes me catch my breath as I take a sip,
Voice fully expires,
My mind and soul respires;
I’m taken to the brink,
As I drink your drink,
Liquid fire.

RIGHT COMBINATION
I can feel myself breathe,
When you’re near me,
I can feel the hurt completely.
Yeah, when it’s you and me,
Life is problem free –
For you’re all that I need,
You’re the key that clicks in me.
I feel the magic bounding through the air,
Only with you do I get this way.
Light shimmers across my face,
As you make darkness float away.
All my thoughts float on the breeze,
As I’m blanketed with your arms;
N friends can say what they like, all I know,
Is never do I want to let go;
Cause I can feel myself breathe,
When you’re near me,
I can feel the hurt heal completely.
Yeah when it’s you and me,
Life is problem free,
For you’re all that I need,
You’re the key that clicks in me.
It seems that I’m only just waking up,
Only now am I beginning to use my sight.
The beauty that I see, the opportunity,
Is from your impact on me.
All my problems seem to fizzle away,
As I take it day by day.
My
friends say they won’t be around if I hang with you for one
day,
Well they can go cause a lifetime with you I want to stay.
And I can feel myself breathe,
When you’re near me,
I can’t feel the hurt heal completely.
Yeah, when it’s you and me,
Life is problem free,
For you’re all I need –
You’re the key that clicks in me.

OUTSIDER
He’s on the outside,
Secretly peering in;
She smiles and laughs,
Shows no sign of hurting.
His mind steams,
As jealously twists,
Then he sighs,
Knows he had his shot and missed.
He had so many chances,
Can’t say she never handed him one;
But he continued to do wrong,
Now she’s long gone.
He’s on the outside,
Secretly peering in;
She smiles and laughs,
Shows no sign of hurting.
His mind steams,
As jealously twists,
Then he sighs,
Knows he had his shot and missed.
He sees her walk down the street –
Her guy twirling a set of keys;
They disappear inside a grocery store,
He wonders what they’re shopping for.
He’s on the outside,
Secretly peering in;
She smiles and laughs,
Shows no sign of hurting.
His mind steams,
As jealously twists,
Then he sighs,
Knows he had his shot and missed.
