Introduction

Is Obesity really the cause of Diabetes and the many other diseases obesity is listed as one of the main risk factors? Or are the health officials, who haven't been able to find any cures for these diseases, even though millions of dollars each year are spent on their research, trying to lay the causes for diseases on each individual's shoulders and give us a quick fix by telling us that we are putting our lives at risk because we are obese and overweight?

Everyone knows how hard it is for some of us to lose weight and even though we have tried some of the most popular weight loss diets and weight loss programs, we are still struggling to take off our many pounds of unwanted weight because we are being told daily that "WE, YES WE!" are killing ourselves softly every day by overeating and by not eating the foods that "THEY” ARE TELLING US TO EAT! My son always asks me when I tell him about what "THEY said we should eat, "WHO ARE THEY?"

Weight loss books and weight loss diets are being written every day and believe me when I tell you that I have read these books and have been on weight loss diets and weight loss programs most of my life. Weight loss diet programs such as Jenny Craig Weight Loss Program, Nutrisystem, Weight Watchers', Weight Watchers' Online, Slim-Fast, Atkins Diet, The Best Life Diet, South Beach Diet, Dr. Phil's Shapeup, Medifast, Pritikin Diet, Eat To Live, and the LA Weight Loss Diet and Program are being used by thousands of people everyday with the dire hope that they will reduce their chances for the risk factors for diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol, Alzheimer's disease and many other diseases that we are being told are caused by being obese.

I myself have been on some of these weight watcher programs, and I wish I could tell you that I am skinny and in perfect health, but alas, I have to report to you that I am, just like a great majority of you who are reading this book, still on a diet and still worried that I am killing myself by being overweight.

In this book, Incredible New Online Discoveries Does Obesity Cause Diabetes? AND Steve Jobs Time-Line Of His Amazing Life And Fight Against Pancreatic Cancer, we are going to delve into and educate ourselves on obesity and if it contributes to diabetes and discover if it is indeed the culprit that leads to disease in our body,

In our first chapter we are going to visit with a large family that lived in the 1920s to the present day time, take a look at their diet and get a glimpse into their lives during this era. We will discover what they ate and how, if any, the food they consumed led to obesity and thereby presented itself in their health later with Alzheimer's disease, heart disease, high cholesterol, high blood pressure or diabetes. We will also learn exactly what obesity is and how we can determine if we are obese or overweight along with figuring out our very own special desirable weight number.

In answering the question, "Does Obesity cause Diabetes," we are going to educate ourselves on the subject of diabetes by leaning all about diabetes, diabetes symptoms, living as a diabetic, living with type 2 diabetic, knowing the signs diabetes presents in our bodies, all about diabetes and answer the question, "What is diabetes?" We are also going to learn of a brand new treatment that will help some patients to be able to live without medications or at least cut down on them.

Chapter One

Obesity

Obesity is a word used by doctors when an overweight person, a person who weighs more than the weight charts lists, and becomes extremely fat. In most cases if you weigh 15 pound over your desirable weight then you are considered overweight. If your weight goes up to 30-40 pounds over your desirable weight, then you are considered obese.

So, what is your desirable weight? Ok, let's look at a weight chart and see if we can come up with the weight the charts tell us we should weigh. There following facts must be considered when you look at the weight chart to arrive at the desired number:

1. Are you a woman or a man?

2. Are you a small, medium or large frame?

3. How tall are you?

After viewing these questions, I find I am in trouble already with these weight charts as to what kind of frame do I have? Since I have already gained weight, how do I judge my frame size? Ok, I am at a loss about my frame size, so I decide to that the easy way out and consider myself a medium size frame. Now, let us look at what this particular weight chart tells me; I would like to tell you at this point that weight charts differ. I am 5'10" tall, a man, and I am of a medium frame so I scan the weight loss chart to find my desirable weight number. The chart tells me I should weigh 146-174 pounds. Oh No! I am really in trouble now so I decide I must be a large frame because I haven't weighed that few of pounds since I was 12 years old! Now I scan over to the large frame size. This looks a little more promising as I can weight from 155-174 pounds. However I have a sneaky suspicion that I am not any of the frames mentioned, but that is another story entirely. I have a large chest, large legs, and my belly needs some work and by the way, I wear glasses.
