Introduction
Mother Earth was once a wholesome and pristine planet where her inhabitants lived as one with nature. There was plenty of clean fresh air and crystal clear water; human beings, flora and fauna co-existed in peace and harmony.
However, with the rapid rise of industrialisation and technology, the face of Mother Earth has started to change irrevocably. As with every cause, effects of the modern way of life can be felt in all aspects of life.
What are some of the issues we are facing, living in modern society?
- An “easy way out” mentality - improper management of solid waste material has led to environmental pollution and degradation in many parts of the world.

1. Change of Diet
If your higher self is pointing you to this, your higher self may be suggesting that you look into your current diet and the type(s) of food you consume. You may wish to make a commitment to fine-tune your physical diet by consciously choosing what you eat.
2. Regular Fitness and Exercise
Have you been exercising regularly? If you have not, perhaps starting a steady fitness program where you exercise regularly may help you to improve your current health condition. Write down a list of exercises that you are interested in, such as, aerobics, yoga, tai chi and qigong and ask your higher self which one has the highest value for you.
3. More Fresh Air
Staying indoors most of the time may not be good for your health as the air indoors, particularly in an air-conditioned environment, may be stale and may contain a lot of air-borne germs. We need to get outdoors and get some clean fresh air from nature.
4. Healing from the Sun
Sunlight happens to be one of the greatest healing remedies that you can find in nature. The sun provides the energy that all living things need in order to exist on this earth. When you take it in moderation, there are lots of health benefits from sunshine. Sunshine stimulates the pineal gland, improves your mood and supplies you vitamin D.
5. Conscious Deep Breathing
Breathing correctly is not only important for living longer but also help you to releases toxins and massage your organs. Deep breathing also helps with de-stressing and relaxation.
Deep Breathing Exercise - Begin by taking a deep breath through your nostrils (Visualize a golden white light entering your body and nourishing every cell in your body). Breathe in deeply and breathe as deeply into your lungs as possible. Hold that breath to the count of five. Then let the breath out slowly through your mouth and imagine all the fears and worries being released from your body. Repeat as often as you desire. Inhale slowly, count to five and then exhale.
6. Health Affirmations
A daily dose of positive health affirmation can also help improve your health condition. Create your own unique health affirmation to suit your condition. For example, “ My physical body is in perfect radiant health. I am infusing my physical body and every single cell with God’s Love. etc.” Say it like a mantra with positive emotions every day.
7. Health Prayer
Are you praying enough for perfect radiant health? Pray to the God and the Angels on regular basis. Write down your personal health prayer and say it for 21 days.
8. Stretching Exercise
Do you feel stiffness in your physical body? Regular stretching exercises will help you to keep your body fit and flexible. In spiritual terms, stiffness can also also mean inflexibility of the mind set.
9. Regular Yoga Exercise
The therapeutic effects of yoga from the physical, mental and spiritual perspectives cannot be underestimated. Regular practice of yoga can help to improve or even heal a diverse range of ailments, such as, diabetes, blood pressure, digestive disorders, arthritis, arteriosclerosis, chronic fatigue, asthma, varicose veins and heart condition. Laboratory tests have proven that a yogi has increased abilities of consciously controlling autonomic or involuntary functions, such as temperature, heartbeat and blood pressure.
10. Aerobic & Cardio Exercises
Regular aerobic and cardiovascular exercises can help to strengthen the heart and increase oxygen flow to body cells. Try regular aerobic exercises that you like, such as, jogging, bicycling, swimming, rowing, etc.
11. Weight Lifting and Training
Regular weight training will help you developing strength and also build up muscle mass, which can help you to keep yourself in optimum health.
12. Drink Lots of Warm Water
It is nice to have a cold drink after a meal; however, cold water will make the oil that you have just consumed with your meal coagulate. This slows down overall digestion of food. However, when this 'sludge' reacts with the stomach acids, it will break down fast and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fat stored in your body and could lead to a variety of health issues. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.
13. Start a Fasting Program
One benefit of fasting is how it allows the body to heal itself in a manner that affects the entire body, or holistically. Other benefits from fasting include raising energy levels, better digestion, stimulation of the production of the human growth hormone, increased awareness of your body, calories reduction, cleansing the body of toxins and clearing your mind!
14. Homeopathy
Homeopathy is a form of alternative medicine in which practitioners treat patients using highly diluted preparations that are believed to cause healthy people to exhibit symptoms that are similar to those exhibited by the patient. Medicines are derived from vegetable, animal and mineral sources.
15. Herb Therapy
Herbs/plants produce and contain a variety of chemical compounds that act upon the body and are used to prevent or treat disease or promote health and well-being. Natural and alternative herbal medicine is the medicine of the future. Humans have used plants since time in memoriam to treat ailments.
16. Mercury
Mercury is a heavy metal. It can damage the central nervous system, endocrine system, kidneys, and other organs. If you have accidentally ingested mercury, seek medical attention immediately. Mercury is also present in the amalgam which is use for tooth fillings. You may want to consider getting the dentist to replace tooth filling containing mercury.
