Rich lives in Saint Clair, Pennsylvania. He lives with his wife Mona and their canine children Emiko and Montagoon, and their feline children Pippin, Cleocatara, Luli-Belle and Maxwell “Bang-Bang” Doodle. Rich used to tie a towel around his neck and pretend he was Hawkman. He hasn’t been doing that as much lately, mainly because his cats look at him funny.

15 Monologues to SLAM! by Peppur Chambers 15 Monologues to SLAM! by Peppur Chambers Sep. 07, 2011 $1.99 6324 words Sample 20%
Author bio:
Peppur Chambers – Biography Writer. Actor. Producer. Peppur wrote her first play at age 12 after a visit to a local Renaissance Faire in Wisconsin. Inspired by a crown of flowers for her and wooden swords for her two brothers purchased at the Faire, she penned a play about a damsel who needed to be rescued. The production debuted in the family backyard under an apple tree at twilight to an audience of two (her parents) and starred the three Chambers children. Since then, she has been published in "Split: Stories From A Generation Raised on Divorce" edited by Ava Chin, whom she met while living in New York. Split is available for purchase on Amazon.com and has written, 15 Monologues to SLAM! which is now available electronically. Peppur has also authored, "Making Lemonade: Bittersweet Tales From An Actress Being Squeezed In LA" which is her candid memoir and is currently under rewrite after receiving helpful coverage from agents at William Morris (when it was still William Morris!). Ms. Chambers is especially proud of "House Rules" which is her first full-length play and appeared on stage in October 2009 under production by The S&P Experience. In 2005, Peppur created the sultry, sassy, sophisticated "Harlem's Night: A Cabaret Story" which is a cabaret/dinner theater experience that includes singing, dancing and acting and after six years of producing and branding, has become her “baby”. Harlem's Night tells the tale of a lonely woman looking for love in all the wrong places...Peppur says with a wink, "Yes, it is autobiographical!" Harlem's Night also includes original songs penned by Peppur. As spin-offs from the cabaret, she created and is editor of "The Brown Betties Gazette" which is an online magazine; and she's working on the novel and feature film based on the main character "Harlem" and the Brown Betties. She has also penned the book, "The Brown Betties Guide: How To Look for Love In All The Wrong Places" which has been developed into an award-winning webseries (www.brownbettiesguide.com) and is available at Amazon.com. She has also created the "Be Your Own Brown Bettie" Burlesque and empowerment workshops. Peppur currently writes a column for Humor Mill Magazine, “Brown Bettie Knows Best” where she recalls humorous encounters in her life with a universal spin. She studied acting with acclaimed acting coach Susan Batson of Black Nexxus NY and Jeanne Kaplan of HB Studios and through her training has also further developed an acute ear for listening and a keen eye for observing real-life characters both of which reward her with enriched writing. In her free time, Peppur enjoys playing fetch with her cat, Iris and hosting "Easy-Peasy-Brunch & Munch" for her friends and family. She is a Kenosha, Wisconsin native and holds a BA in Marketing/Advertising from Marquette University.

72 Ways to Prepare ALPO and Love It by Eric Hart 72 Ways to Prepare ALPO and Love It by Eric Hart Nov. 26, 2011 $1.99 6632 words Sample 15%
Author bio:
I grew up in a broken home and the only thing I knew about money is that we didn’t have any while I lived with my mother. After moving to my dad and stepmother’s house, things seemed much better, that is until a man came to the front porch and nailed a notice of foreclosure on the support column. By the time I graduate from high school, we had moved at least twenty times, sometimes in the middle of the night. For a short time, we lived in our van or slept in a garage. Thankfully the garage had heat and running water. When I was fourteen years old, I learned about managing money. A lawyer sent a letter to my dada saying pay up or you are going to court. I didn’t want that to happen, because I knew we just couldn’t afford it. So I went to the lawyers office and negotiated a payment plan. For the next year, I had my dad give me his bills, I listed them and paid on the everyday ones and paid down on the older debt. This worked well until my dad gave up on it. Even so, I later got in debt after buying a car and spending too much money on it. The car was reposed and I compounded the problem by getting into debt with student loans. It took a few years, but being inspired by Dave Ramsey, I was able to pay off all of my debt and now enjoy living a debt free lifestyle. - Eric Hart Growing up, my parents invested a lot of time and energy in making sure our family had everything we needed. My mom was very frugal and my dad worked countless hours. However, they didn’t teach me about how to manage my own money, they always took care of it for me. While they did shield me from having to worry about thing like finances, the net result is that I didn’t learn much about managing money. As a result, I was soon piling on the student loan debt, bought a car without knowing how to negotiate and maxing out several credit cards. Not long after I had to sell many of my belongings, just to be able to keep my car in order to get to work to pay the rest of my bills. Something had to change and it did after I discovered many of the things that Dave Ramsey teaches. – AJ Jackson
8 Bits of Wisdom: Video Game Lessons for Real Life's Endbosses by Andy Schindler 8 Bits of Wisdom: Video Game Lessons for Real Life's Endbosses by Andy Schindler Sep. 30, 2011 $3.99 36259 words Sample 15%
Author bio:
Born in Kansas City, Missouri during one of the worst icestorms anyone can remember, Andy Schindler came into this world with guns a'blazin'. Literally. To say that baby Andy had a gas problem would be extremely generous. In fact, he was sending a well-seasoned veteran crew of nurses away screaming. Since the beginning, Andy has been full of hot air. Though the hospital staff turned him away, his mother has loved him since day one. His papa, too. Not bad. Through careful nurturing and with a steady diet of GI Joes, Coca Cola Classic, and video games, Andy used his formative years to be somewhat of a counter-culture connoisseur. Or, as others lovingly put it, a huge nerd. His first written work was a fictional account of a space adventurer named Seymour Butts, who traveled the universe avoiding capture from aggressive aliens. He has been writing truly magnificent and artistic think-pieces like that one ever since. After graduating from the University of Kansas (2006) with a degree in Film Studies, Andy quickly realized that the film industry is an unforgiving destructor of souls. He slinked into the corporate world, but he has maintained a true love of writing and film. Recently married to the girl of his dreams and enjoying his days with his daughter and two dogs, he hopes to live out the rest of his existence as a full-time writer.

Author bio:
A child of the movies, I was always consumed by fantastic stories told by others and translated into adventures to be retold by me through the action figure medium. As I grew older, I put the action figures away and moved into the realm of role playing. Though I never outgrew role playing, I certainly don't have the time for it anymore. Since I was eleven years old, I've been pouring almost every ounce of creative energy I have into writing. I graduated college in 1993 with a degree in computer science. I tried my hand at programming for a couple of years and found it pretty unsatisfying. I later became a partner at a comic book store, where I spent several years. Though it wasn't a financial success, the experience I gained from running the store and the people that I met (many whom I'm still in touch with today) was priceless. After leaving the store, I settled into a career of teaching. I still teach at a public high school in New York. Ironically, I've picked up computer programming again, which is what I mostly teach, peppered with some math courses now and again. I've been writing the whole time. I released my first book electronically in 2010. Forty Leap was, and still is, the pinnacle of my writing to date. It was a turning point for me in both style and story building. The Book of Revelations, which was written earlier but released later, was sort of a midway point between the writer I was and the writer I've become. I experimented with a very odd style and a story that employed diverse characters and controversial situations. In September 2010, I released the first installment of Zombies! It went out for free, the subsequent episodes each priced at 99 cents. Zombies! has been a tremendous success for me and I'm currently working with someone to develop it into a television series.
